SKELETON KEYS!!!!
Please fix skeleton keys. One every 3 heroic strike would be good. I've done over 30 and haven't received one skeleton key at all.

I think the drop rate is fine ^_^. I am getting one every fourth heroic strike and sometimes twice in a row.

5 RepliesIf your doing heroic strikes your going about getting them all wrong see. You get Way more from the Siva 320 strike play list. I know it's fd up the A. But it's true. Don't believe me give them a try and see

It's a totally stupid concept and idea... They took the rarest drops and added another layer of RNG to them. Us "gee I wish we could get more strike specific loot" Bungie "oh you want more strike specific loot? Okay here we'll put them behind a paywall and make it so you can get them from a chest. But you need a key for the chest that drops even less than the strike specific loot did, and when or if you get a key, the chance at getting something good is also a lower chance than before. Bungie's logic is so messed up...just have the loot drop in the entire heroic strike list. Don't put them in boxes we can't open unless RNG blesses us with a key....JUST BUFF THE DROP RATE!

or at least have shiro give you a key after completing a weekly bounty just like how it was with petras bounties lol

Shit perks and the items dropped either the same or less light level that I was. I was and still am at 380 at the moment.

I agree. I am on the last step of the Thorn bounty, and ran NINE Strikes without a single Skeleton Key drop. I burned all my guaranteed rewards on the Heroic playlist, then started playing the SIVA Crisis playlist. If the drop rate isn't going to change, at least throw one in the Radiant Treasure package!

Your full of shit, if you had run 30 strikes you would have all characters to 365 and plenty of skeleton keys. Bungie stop listening to players like this your making the game to easy. Update: someone pointed out that I've done 108 strikes since 20th of sep, I've only had 7 or so keys drop. When i wanted keys on each character it took 5-6 runs to get 1 per character. But looking at the total of strikes and only 7 drops, i agree, i have done way more then you guys and i should have heaps more keys.

Before the update the drop rate in nightfalls was higher. Now, after grinding all of my characters to 387, I have only had one skeleton key other than the quest rewards. Incorrect drop rates have become the norm in destiny. I can't imagine that this is how it was intended to be.

Haven't gotten one since week 1. Ran 7 350 strikes and a NF today and nothing.

3 RepliesI conquer. I think loot should be RNG but after continuous plays the percentage should increase. After say, 20 strikes the keys should be around 20%, 30% and constantly increasing. And if you put in the serious effort the strikes should 90% or 100% drop keys every mission. After say 50 continuous strikes. It's still a grind, but it makes it worth the effort. Some goes for crucible drop rates too. More constant hours played the higher the drop rates. And it resets upon going back to orbit.

I find that skeleton keys drop more often in the 320 siva playlist. Not the heroic ones.

Strike specific loot should still drop along with the skeleton key.

I actually got one after a 320 Wretched Eye strike from the Siva playlist... only the 2nd one since launch. Got a shitty little Titan towel which I used for infusion.

1 Replythey can't drop more skeleton keys because this DLC is too small and people would get all their contents too fast, so yeah you wont see any skeleton keys upgrades from them as their trying to hide their lackluster content that you / me had to pay 30$ should of been free

I think you should get a guaranteed one in nightfall. But the fact that its such a pain the get the loot should have better odds of being higher light. Most of the ones ive opened were the same level as me

Within 13 days of October you've only done 18 strikes. I don't not know where the hell your getting the idea of 30 of dropping no skeleton key. And it's RNG based so quit complaining just farm it's not that hard.

Use the skeleton key from Skyrim. It opens any lock.

3ofCoins should also increase the odds of a key dropping from strike bosses, at least then if you don't get an exotic you might get something.

4 RepliesI think the keys should stay the same but they should have kept it that the bosses could still drop an engram with a strike specific piece of loot. Still keep the drop rates low but make it so a key or loot engram can drop.
