DAMMIT BUNGIE FIX CRUCIBLE ALREADY?!
My god. I love playing the game when it works, but every 6v6 playlist is an utter disaster at this point.
Did you guys just give up? Are you all looking for new jobs? Did you cut resources so much that the only thing you can do is tweek SBMM?
For the love of god man no one wants to play this garbage. The only thing I do anymore is Rumble and maybe some skirmish or salvage.
Here come the inevitable 'if you don't like it don't play it' replies. But I did like it. When it was working. It's a disaster. And has been for some time.

Totally agree. Not sure what the cause is but yesterday I was getting stomped ALL THE TIME. Rift was awful. My weapons did nothing. 4 shots to the head with Mida took the shield down. One shotted from across the map with imprecation. Emptied a clip of hackens hatchet into an enemy and no damage (he then emerges behind me and slaps me dead one hit). PvP in the last few weeks is busted.

8 RepliesThe lag is terrible, I will miss shoulder charges, and I'm not red bar, get sniped through walls, takes five mins to find a match , and when you find one, it's 3v3 or 4v4. Crucible is in complete disarray at the moment.

Crucible was fine again for a few weeks, now its back on, laggy mess again, why the fu[i]c[/i]k is it back on? It now also takes twice as long to find a laggy match.

I work graveyard. Most of my friends list is people from another continent (Australia mostly) because of it. Thanks to SBMM we can't ever crucible together anymore. If we do half the team suffers crippling lag. This system has taken playing with friends away from me. Friends I've played with regularly for 2 years now. #endsbmm #savethecrucible

3 RepliesHave you guys ever stopped to think that maybe you would still see a shit load of red bars in connection based matchmaking because for the most part it isn't players connections it's Bungie's shit servers being held together with bubble gum and duct tape and a guy named Randy with a mustard stain on his shirt and 4 inch thick glasses that hasn't seen pussy since he was yanked feet first out of one at birth?

I don't usually complain on the forums. But the lag in every crucible game mode has had soooooooooooo much lag!! I csnt play well when everyone is freaking teleporting around the map!

I don't have any problem in PVP right now, sometimes I get laggy games but I just leave if it's too bad. Most of the time it's all good, games are close, there's no stomping or being stomped. It's just balanced, I'm very much enjoying Rift at the moment!

6 RepliesAgreed - and the saddest part is, this is not Bungie's first rodeo regarding a MP title. Halo 2, Halo 3, Reach - they have had so many other titles to perfect their approach to a stable MP environment. Yet all we get are cheap, half-assed band-aides that do nothing but break the game even further.

10 RepliesThe main problem with SBMM is that the game doesn't reward you in any way for being a higher tier of player. The game only punishes you for being better. Most FPSes at least reward you with titles, ranks, exclusive items, skins, etc. Fighting games do the same. You face tougher opponents but at least you are given some form of distinction. Heck, even Clash of Clans gives you more loot for being at higher tiers. But Bungie, in their infinite wisdom, instead chooses to literally sneak SBMM into the game and even lies about it. The sheer incompetence of their implementation is rather troublesome.
