Best legendary auto rifle?
I have red spectre and it's not too great

Doctrine, Arminius D, Soulstealers Claw. Basically anything with max RoF and low impact (with good perks of course.)

1 ReplyAri-41 has my favorite "feel" of any auto. I just got a shadow price. I like it just fine, but I expected rainbows and blowjobs for all that people built it up. It's good though.

Dealbreaker is my goto legendary Auto. Awesome in PVE, it gives out as much damage per shot as the Regime with Crowd Control but doesn't chew though ammo. In PVP I find it gets the drop on other players 90% of the time in a straight shoot out. You need to have Counterbalance on her to make her a stable weapon & I use the SC Holo sights.

Red Specter's actually one of the best if you get a good roll on it because it's inbetween the medium and low RoF while still having a strong damage per shot (about 20 on a headshot) which gives it a lower TTK than the medium RoF models. Arminius D/Doctrine of Passing are still the best right now. Haven't treid it yet but there's 1 sold by the vanguard vendor I think that's pretty nasty (has crowd control and counter balance) and is a low RoF type. An Answering Chord or Suros ARI-45 are also nice if you can get good rolls (glass half full and/or counter balance).

I recently dismantled a focused fire, hand laid stock/smallbore, counterbalance Red Spectre because of how bad it was. I have a persistence, smallbore, third eye roll in my vault that's usable but not to a point where I'd pick it over most other choices.
