1 ReplyEdited by Tim vdB3: 2/21/2016 3:33:11 PMGate - doesn't matter Confluxes - night stalker Oracle - gunslinger Templar - night stalker Gorgons - blade dancer Gate keeper - night stalker Atheon - night stalker/gunslinger Couldn't choose with Atheon. Gunslinger are good for oracle but nightstalkers are good to tether Atheon or keeping the harpies in check.

Depends at where you are Outside: gunslinger, nightstalker Templars well: gunslinger, nightstalker Gorgon's labyrinth: bladedancer Glass throne: gunslinger, nightstalker

Edited by Mr_Haad: 2/21/2016 3:54:22 PMGood question. I've only used Gunslinger in VOG with my hunter. I've never used Nightstalker. Looks like I'll be looking for a VOG group.
-
I voted Gunslinger because thats what I used during Year 1. Haven't tried with a Nightstalker yet but I imagine it would be more useful. Gunslinger in great for clearing adds and making orbs.
-
1 ReplyFor conflux use Nightstalkers so you make lots of orbs and tether lots of enemies. Oracles use gunslinger to goldengun then. Templer use nightstalker for debuff. Maze do any but don't go invisible BC it attracts enemies. Gatekeeper use goldengun with nighthawk for a one hit kill with goldengun....if to far away I'm pretty sure it doesn't kill them in one hit. Then atheon use goldengun for oracles again. Team will live you :) ps I'm a year one and goldengun was the go to.

1 ReplyIn year 1 I used gunslinger for most of the raid because of triple jump. Occasionally I would use bladedancer on the jumping puzzle to show hunters who couldn't get past the puzzle an easy way of getting past. In year 2 I just use gunslinger. In year 2 you should know how to do a jumping puzzle so bladedancer isn't needed. Nightstalker isn't useful in the raid. You can't kill an oracle with it. You can do plenty of damage to templar and atheon without it. You shouldn't need to go invisible on gorgons. The only thing nightstalker has going for it is triple jump.

Any really. What do you think we did when night stalker didn't exist?
-
Three night stalkers and three stormcallers will wipe out all adds and generate a ridiculous amount of orbs. Blood bound for night stalker makes it almost a joke lol. But a total blast to run. It's truly when supers feel like supers in this game. Any other time you are shocked that you even have a super because they are completely underwhelming in PVE generally.

Back in the day Gunslinger was the only beneficial choice, now Nighstalker makes more sense due to Shadowshot damage bonuses.
-
Nightstalker up front then gunslinger with celestial nighthawk on aetheon. Sleeper simulant for the heavy at aetheon.
-
I bet nightstalker is good, but back in the day people would kick you for using bladedancer (except on Gorgons). Gunslinger was good for oracles so everyone used that, and triple jump made the jumping puzzle easier.

71% of players have never experienced the wonder that is doing Vault of Glass as a fun subclass.

10 RepliesYou Nightstalkers wish you could kill Oracles like a Gunslinger.

Edited by Piggyback: 2/21/2016 11:48:04 AMNightstalker is amazing for the legions and Templar debuff.
-
You don't need a super to destory oracles I used Fusion rifles, or a shotgun. If running out of time I'd switch to heavy if I don't think I can finish it off with my primary

Gunslinger. OG.
-
People acting like Oracles are too hard to kill... Nightstalker. Gunslinger and Bladedancer are obsolete in PVE now...
-
Oracles = Gunslinger Adds = Nightstalker
-
Nightstalker, all those orbs
-
Gunslinger to take out the oricals easier.
