There you have to listen to Nazir boast, you have to listen to Braith bully everyone, Brenuen complains everytime you pass him "I ain't done nothin'!", Heimskr is always ALWAYS rambling and screaming about Talos and "THIS LOOOOOONNNGGG WINTER!" and "MAGGOTS WRITHING IN OUR OWN FILTH!", and even more so you've got the slave trader Belethor as the only general goods merchant. Plus, Breezehome is tiny and Lidia is a whiny Bitch. Then you've got what's his face in the Bannered-Mare always complaining that "The security in Whiterun is terrible. Shameful is what it is. The guards here are all lazy." So honestly, why does everyone like Whiterun so much?

15 RepliesEdited by Aarchon_Priest: 2/19/2016 12:32:14 AMJoining with the Stormcloaks unfortunately means helping the Altemeri since driving the empire out of skyrim means that it's open for attack [b][i][u]BUT[/u][/i][/b] (yes it's a big but but not as big as kims) the Altemeri didn't count on the dragonborn showing up any century's soon, thus giving the Stormcloaks a [b]huge[/b] advantage as they have the near immortal dragon riding, war ending, ebony night slaying demon from Sovengarde on their side. Just think about it, the dragon born controls: The thieves guild The dark brotherhood The companions The grey beards (maybe) The nightingales Bye bye Altemeri, hello free Tamriel (assuming the Stormcloaks and the almighty dragonborn liberates from the claws of the empire).

I'm just going to take this moment to remember 2014. The year of played skyrim. Nothing can replace it. It's the thing missing from destiny, all that time and effort and no real story. I love a good romance in a game, or being able to fully direct my characters life. Fantastic.

Riverwood is my favorite settlement. At around 5-6am the lighting is just gorgeous to look at. Everything is orangish red.
