Destiny: Xbox 360 to Xbox one

So I just got an Xbox one and I need some help? If I had destiny and ttk on my Xbox 360 would I have to re buy the disc and ttk for Xbox one or could I just digitally download the legendary edition on my Xbox one? If I did download the digital legendary edition will all my characters and everything transfer over?
