Hard scoping isn't skill
Hard scoping a doorway at head level isn't skill. It's just as bad as camping corners with shotguns. Taking quick precision shots is skill.

Edit 2:Do not compare sniping in Destiny vs sniping in real life. You can't even lay down in Destiny lol plus future, aliens, space magic
Edit 3: As long as everyone is aware hard scoping a doorway waiting for people to run by is dirty and not skill. I'm ok with people doing it.
Edit 4: So much hate. Y'all must think it's either hard scope or quick scope. No you can scope in, but waiting 5+ seconds at head level for someone to walk In from their spawn. That's hard scope and dirty.

It isn't designed for 360noscope bullshit. That came about in games like CoD, which this game isn't. It's true that players that can pull off quickscopes, even in close quarters, are indeed good, but if a player is sniping in a high traffic area, focusing on corners and such, that's simply strategy.

I honestly don't care that you think that. If hard scoping my gun takes your head off your shoulders, I win, you lose. Skill is irrelevant at that point.

Really? This is the second post I've seen in 3 days. Has hard scoping really become an issue? I haven't notice. I get the occasional camper every now then, but that's an easy fix. The people that annoy me are the head glitchers and the d-bags that get in spots outside the maps.

What are snipers supposed to be used for? Not quickscoping nor trick shotting or MLG 360 DANKSC0p3s. There used for taking time to focus on a target AKA hardscoping

Sometimes strategy > skill. Sometimes skill isn't an option, so people need to use tactics like hardscoping a doorway to win. If it gets the job done, more power to them; it's the idiot who got sniped 3 times in a row by the same guy in the same spot who is to blame for being killed that way. Adjust your tactics if someone is hardscoping.

1 ReplyOnly hate I see is from the salty OP who turned a corner and got shot in the face with a sniper. Try crouching before you turn the corner, most people will expect you to be fully standing.
