Honestly, why are you still playing?
Seriously guys, why?
The only thing that is left to "accomplish" is reaching 320 light. But is that even worth it? It's not like it's going to enhance the gaming experience or make killing dregs any easier on patrol. There aren't any weapons left to grind for to earn the right to say "haha I have this and you don't".
It's the same game, same elements, same tactics, over and over again. For what exactly?
The next DLC your light won't matter because you'll be able to "buy" your way to 321-322, and "earn" your way to 323-324. ... Rinse and repeat for the next 8 years.
I loved the idea of Destiny before it launched, and I stuck by its side the first year. But we have been let down countless times and I've lost any interest and desire. Bungie lacks innovation and creativity.
Why are you still playing? Honestly..

All the new game releases have been even more shallow than the initial release of destiny. Looking at you Rainbow Six, Battlefront, and Fallout 4. All are fun don't get me wrong but they just lack that flare to keep me interested.

Because the game is fun. I've taken time to appreciate other games recently (mostly Fallout 4), but Destiny is the game I always come back to. The gun play is unmatched, the movement feels great and sparrow racing has added a new very fun game mode. When I get bored, do you know what I do? Something else. Try not to burn yourself out man.

I've been questioning why I play as well. It's getting kind of boring now. I used to have a bunch of fun in Y1 with soloing the nightfall, both raids being fun and still doable for good gear, the strikes were pretty fun too. The raid has gotten old quickly, I'm already 317 light. What's the point in doing it anymore? 320? Not good enough. I only play trials with friends on the weekend, and even that is getting old.
