The perk does just say 'grants shadestep' so you would think it should.
Edit: I was just trying to gather an opinion on whether the description suggested it should in fact work on other subclasses. I'm guessing the misleading description is why they changed it. On a side note, some of these comparisons are hilarious, keep them up.
Edit 2: some people seem to be getting offended that I was trying to gather opinions. It's just a game guys calm down.
Edit 3: Had to edit the title for those very special people. Also, so many idiots comparing this to wearing the impossible machines and having landfall for other warlock subclasses. :')

The perks should be: grants an extra upgrade for your subclass so you can equip 2 things at once
-
Sure if no back up plans work on every titan spec. You can dodge roll all you want. But nothing would stop sunbreakers that also get over shields with shotgun kills.

7 RepliesEdited by Dark_Warlock898: 11/4/2015 12:49:39 PMYou want Blink and Shadestep? Unm no thx. If you're going to do that then these should happen as well right? -Death from Above on Hammer of Sol activation. -All Warlock Melees should regen health on hit -All Warlock supers should gain Landfall
-
It should work on all Hunter subclasses as does the Khepris Sting, only makes sense. I main a hunter but haven't used Bladedancer since January and I still wouldn't mind the Blink/Shadestep/Shotgun combo since I never had a problem with Blink shotgunners. Would just shit on them with Sniper bodyshot then one Last Word bullet.
-
Yeah it should function like Khepri stings
-
Yes. When I found it didn't it went from my most favorite exo helmet to my least favorite
-
3 RepliesEdited by B: 11/3/2015 2:52:23 AMIt's the same exact way for the storm caller gloves, it says grants landfall meaning allow that ability to be active in the chain. For example a hunter puts on the gloves,"Cool landfall, wait I don't have that ability," shadestep is not available for warlock and titans.
-
It's otherwise a useless exotic. Shade step is the only useful perk in that part of the subclass. Keen scout is only useful for farming materials and the trap one usually doesn't even trick dregs. So shade step is always active, so what's the point in the helmet? Nothing more than a waste of 15 minutes logging on to see xur.

9 RepliesLet me use sunsinger with impossible machines whoever is standing by me when i self rez will get destroyed
-
Would you give each warlock class and stupidly ranged melee attack? Oh wait...that already exists.
-
I can't think of a valid reason why it shouldn't work on all hunter subclasses.
-
Kephri's sting works on every subclass so why not the Forfeit?
-
You mean have blink AND shadestep at the same time? Cray cray

Edited by PetersonHD : 11/4/2015 12:38:04 PMYES PLEASE!!!! LET ME SHADESTEP AWAY, BLINK UP, THE SHADE STEP TWO MORE TIMES TOWARDS ME ENEMY, BLINK INE MORE TIME, AND SHOT GUN THE -blam!- OUT OF U!!!!
-
15 RepliesWould you allow unstoppable on all titan subclasses?
-
1 ReplyDon't Touch Me works on other classes.
-
5 RepliesYou're -blam!-ing dumb, that's a class specific perk
-
1 ReplyI can't decide which is dumber. The thread about this or half of the people voting yes
-
Imagine bladedancer being crouched invisble then shadestepping, or using blink strike then shadestepping outta there, this is why
-
Imagine someone in the crucible blinking, then shadesteping, then shotgunning you. That's a combo move to end destiny
-
NOOOOO
-
Think about it on bladedancer. Blink plus shadestep = rage
-
1 ReplyGod no, shadestep is already annoying as it is. Just imagine it combined with blink! *Shudders*
-
1 ReplyThere are similar perks on every class, no one gets it for every subclass, get over it.
-
Shade step, blink shotgun combo... Forums would be just as bad if not worse than when xur sold gjallarhorn for 2nd time.
-
I don't think that will be fair, especially with the bladedancer subclass.
