I hate the whole raid experience.
Seems like 85% of the raid community is incompetent. How do you miss simple jumps, or forget to do your specific job. You wonder why I leave your raid team? I wonder why we spend an hour doing the jump ships. Why are so many bad at this game?

Honestly, this raid is good, but you know what's wrong with it? The entire raid is a jumping puzzle. You can't go 2 rooms without having to jump ships or dodge pistons. It's -blam!-ing annoying. I would have liked a area that wasn't a boss fight or jumping puzzle, like say the gorgons or the bridge. A area where you use team work, don't have to shoot a bullet sponge and don't having to break your head over a jump.

2 RepliesMaybe they like shooters and not platformers. I mean I personally play destiny to shoot things and pop supers for fun. If I wanted to jump I'd go play metroid or axiom verge or similar.

I think people like you are why people don't like to do the raid or try to find people to help. I know I haven't done it a lot but I knew how to do the raid before I even tried it because of videos and watching others on twitch. This community is so rude sometimes to people who don't know how to do something you get mad and don't have patience to help people.

That is why a lot of people act like "elitists" when trying to form a group. There is a massive difference in the level of frustration and time required when you require certain levels and experience. Sometimes you get lucky and find a competent person who just hasn't had time to run the raid yet but that is not the norm.

Random people means random playing styles, random experience levels, random attitudes whether positive or negative through communication.... No consistency is most likely going to lead to failure. And this raid needs 100% consistency and rhythm, so yea, I would take time to find regulars.

Not everyone grew up playing Mario to hone platforming skills. Maybe consider finding a clan, or building your own group rather than joining others.

I bet your the kind of guy that leaves after one wipe. Just find a regular team to play with, you should expect to take longer with randoms. Failing that, teach people. I've barely played the raid and even then teaching people how to do it is incredibly fun, one of my favourite parts of the whole thing.

You do realize there are mlg groups out there recruiting, right? From the way you're posting, you make it sound like you're always in the right and never in the wrong. If that's the case you should definitely consider applying for those mlg clans, then you'll never have to write such an arrogant post.

Simple minds the mcfry boys playing struggle with the mechanics Same problem people had with skolas if you ran the mechanics correctly no problemo Vog got bad at the end as well

Give people time to learn. If you don't like teaching then run with your own regular team(which I think you don't have resulting in such a post)

It's amazing how some people can't follow simple instructions or stay alive for more than 5 seconds. The raid isn't that hard.

My teams beats every part first attempt. Usually whole raid takes about 1 hr 15 mins. Don't talk crap about the game if it's the kids that are ruining your experience.

Poor research, I watched so many raid videos before going in my first time that on my second run through I was Sherpa to the group.

So you hate the raid or hate the randoms you are playing with? If you dont have dedicated people to run with then join a clan or find dedicated people. With randoms sometimes its great sometimes not so great.have to take the good with the bad when you choose randoms.
