Spartans vs. Guardians. A researched debate on the Halo side.

So there seems to be this massive debate on which side would win. I am going to try my best to provide why I think the Spartans would win. I am only going to talk about the capabilities of each side themselves to see who would most likely win in a 1 v 1, 3 v 3, or 6 v 6 scenario. Note: Play station people, be aware of what you say about the MC. I have no console hate but i believe that in order for one to have a valid argument about a particular thing, they must have properly and fully experienced the topic of debate and preferably researched. Plus, there are many people who will attack you if you put down the chief. Be warned. Base capabilities [spoiler]The best Spartans (spartan 2s) went through certain argumentation procedures. Those that survived could run at least 55 kph or 34.2 mph. Kelly-087 was capable or funning at 62 kmph or 38.5 mph and John-117 has run at 105 kmph or 62.2 mph. Spartans can also lift 3x their weight. Various Spartans have been able to lift gravity hammers in one hand and still be able to dodge, jump to increased heights, kill elites with one punch, kill hunters in hand to hand combat, killing a brute in 1 uppercut, or even lift a mongoose and use it both as a ram and a hammer. Spartan reaction time is impossible to chart accurately but it is estimated to be 20 milliseconds which can be boosted in combat or by AI assistance. This reaction time allows Spartans to think, react, and see things in fast or slow motion aka "Spartan time". Spartans can also see in pitch black with no special equipment. All of these traits get significantly increased over time as the spartan gets more comfortable with their augmentations. In the halo universe, Spartans can dodge rockets and even bullets. Spartan 4s after argumentation could run over 50 kmph, and even breathe methane for an hour. Eat a raw tree for the equivalent of 6 meals worth of energy, see in the dark, read fine print from across a room, and hearing is also increased. In armor, strength and speed is equal to spartan 2s. In game, Spartans can flip tanks, punch wraiths to death, combat elites and hunters in hand to hand combat, lift gravity hammers with same mobility as before, jump higher, and run faster than running normal humans.[/spoiler] Armor and equipment [spoiler]Spartan armor is a sealed system, allowing one to function in extravehicular and subversive activity or in toxic environments. (Yes i am aware that in the games if a spartan goes more than ankle deep in water they die, but that is usually to keep players from going outside the map. And I compiling all the abilities of Spartans, both in game and in lore/canon. Feel free to do the same for guardians) It is hardened against EMP and radiation and can remove toxins and bacteria from the atmosphere. The outer layer of MJOLNIR armor is a multilayer alloy of remarkable strength and a defractive coating capable of dispersing amounts of energy weapon strikes. The outer layer is a titanium alloy, which is nearly impervious to small arms fire (assault rifles, pulse rifles, other low impact weapons from destiny) and is resistant to armor piercing rounds (snipers, hand cannons, etc) The suit contains a gel-filled layer underneath a thick black armored body suit. The body suit is also a titanium based material but is still very strong and flexible and acts as another layer of protection against ballistic attacks and dispersal of energy from energy based attacks. The gel layer regulates temperature and can reactivity change density for various purposes, including resisting high Gs and high velocity impacts (orbital drops). The inner layer is a moisture absorbing synthetic material that is linked to an environmental control dumpster and neural interface. The suit is also tailored to neural laces/enhancements that Spartans have, allowing the thoughts of the user to command the armor's movement/weapons and input from the sensors goes directly into the users mind. Because of this, it is impossible to measure reaction time and the sensitivtivity of the suit can kill a non augmented person. Between the external armor and the internal padding is a layer of reactive metal liquid crystal. This crystalline layer forms a network, capable of supporting the kinds of Artificial intelligence usually reserved for starships. An A.I.'s personality and processing matrices can be carried by the armor and delivered to the suit via onboard storage in a crystal data chip no larger than a personal credit card. At the same time it is amorphous, yet amplifies force, doubling lifting capability and increasing reaction time by a factor of five. The suit also includes various clips, belts, magnetic holsters (which can also be found on the feet to attach to metal surfaces in 0 G environments), a HUD that is linked to sensors in the gloves to detect weapon type and devices held, projects shield strength, ammo count, a targeting reticle, waypoints, radio uplink, health monitoring, and other data. Continued development of the armor increases jump heights, speed, and strength, and eventually supports nano bots for automatic repair of the suit and user. The suit weighs 1000 lbs. with a spartan inside, that is a little under twice the size of a cabal. I don't think a titan is going to be moving a spartan anywhere. Spartans would have the advantage in a hand to hand combat fight because of enhanced abilities, harsh formal training, extensive experience, and because they weigh more, making them harder to move and allowing them to hit harder. The suit also allows the user to continue on even if their bodies themselves have been broken, due to the suit reacting to the thoughts and not the movements of the spartan. This makes it incredibly hard to kill a spartan. Spartan armor also supports active shielding which can decrease friction levels and different areas of the shield can be changed in concentration of shielding. Also note that spartan radar is significantly more accurate than guardian radar. Additional components of spartan armor are nano bots that automatically repair the suit and the user and equipment to survive atmospherical drops. [url]http://www.halopedia.org/Spartan_abilities[/url] This site provides some new abilities that also are similar to some guardian's abilities. ie: spartan charge = shoulder charge[/spoiler] Additional Armor abilities [spoiler]Active camouflage: makes the user basically invisible (more so than guardian invisibility). Also acts as a radar jammer. Armor lock (pick up ability, not default): high power shield invulnerable to anything while active. Can repel rockets and sends out an EMP and force push blast upon deactivation. Extreme density allows it to send aircraft directly down if activated on or in one. (Anti everything. It's unbreakable in game) Drop shield: protects personnel inside from incoming damage and regens friendly health. Similar to ward of dawn. (Anti nova bomb, rocket launcher) Evade: increased evasion by rolling in any specific direction. Breaks lock in and tracking. (Anti truth, gjallarhorn, nova bomb, FoH) Hologram: creates a hologram that runs forward in the direction faced when activated. Will flicker away after taking a set amount of damage or after 10 seconds. Jet pack: allows for increased air mobility and jump height. (Spartans can already jump high so this is just another boost. As the halo franchise progresses, this becomes a basically a default function of the armored suit) Sprint: increased running speed. (Spartans already run fast. This is a boost I guess. Kind of pointless in game. Halo reach) Promethean vision: allows for user to see through walls. (Anti anything because this gives Spartans the ability to plan an attack or defense before it even rounds the corner) Auto sentry: various kinds. Creates an automated torrent that fires on enemies. Regen shield: recharges shields of Spartans inside. Hard light shield: at cost of slower movement, absorbs incoming damage. Cannot be destroyed by force. Can also repel rockets back at shooters. (Anti nova bomb, FoH, rocket launcher, anything) Thruster pack: similar to evade (see evade for what it counters. Becomes integrated ability in spartan suits as they get better. (See halo 5)) Over shield: increased shields Stun blast: enemies caught in blast cannot move/shoot (spartan assault; suppressor and flash bang grenade combined; anti super) Seeker drone: targeting kamikaze drone. Spartans have superior AI compared to the dinklebot. Maybe a warmind could compete, but the only remaining warmind is independent and does his own thing.
