Will Confirmation Bias, Push Polling and other non-data trick Bungie into nerfing Thorn?
So, is Bungie that dumb?
Don't forget, as always post OTHER opinions in the comments. You know, down there. Where they belong.
edit 1: Right out of the gate people are thinking Bungie will stand strong...
edit 2: OH SNAP! A resurgence from the opposition. Maybe Bungie WILL cater to the whims of the few...

They've got the data. They're not going to act without the data behind it. The problem isn't Thorn. All the exotic HCs are too strong comparatively to other weapons. Auto Rifles across the board are too weak. I think

Thorn was designed for pvp, those who try to max it in pve will be butthurt.

1 ReplySo I've heard Red Death is OP also and that is my main crucible weapon. Yet if I match up against a good player with thron I will lose 90% of the time. 3-6 (and yes one time I confirmed all 6) players on a team every match have thorn in crucible and its not because its pretty. I think exotics should be strong and have their niche but I cannot think of a weakness for thorn. When someone gets too close to me with my red death I'm usually dead unless I can swap to my shotty or get a decent melee. If someone is too far away i am dead with my red death unless I swap to a sniper or run. A thorn excels at both. It doesnt need to be nerfed to oblivion but I am sick of facing nothing but thorns in PVP. I know people are going to say "just use a thorn and stfu" I don't like hand cannons and I shouldn't have one weapon option to be competitive in PvP . Don't get me wrong I can kill people who have a thorn (and angels sing every time I do) but if there is a good player, theres nothing you can do

1 ReplyI know I want to believe Bungie isn't making knee jerk decisions in response to the cry-babies on these forums. However, the last few changes have been completely unjustified and did seem in direct response to the loudest whiners on these forums.
