DO NOT USE ETHERIC LIGHT ON PREADYTH'S REVENGE FOR SKOLAS!
I don't want anyone to feel the same pain as me. I used an Etheric Light on this gun and it only head shot for 5600 roughly with WOL. DO NOT DO IT. Stick to a high impact sniper. I thought PR would be like P&T, but it is not the same.

The rate of fire makes up for the low impact but there are definitely better choices.

In the time it takes you with your Sniper vs my Praedyths, I do about 15k More Dps. Did you even Math bro? And keep in mind I have a Spear Final Round. Fyi. Follow up with Void LMG. Beat him 3 times already this week.

Praedyth's revenge is Not about impact. It's about 100% stability, high RoF , Field scout and , of course, explosions ;-)

I agree, praedyth's revenge is terrible for this fight if you are trying to burst him down using the sniper method. My void efrideet's spear does about 9600 damage per shot and 12,500 damage on the final round. With field scout I have just as many rounds as a praedyth's revenge but I'm dealing about twice as much damage per clip. Anyone defending a praedyth's over a higher impact sniper is either lying to themselves or simply never really fired a high impact sniper to know the difference.

Worked just fine for me, PR is a great sniper. That field scout makes it a beast for long fights.

2 RepliesDon't listen to the OP. I ascended my PR sniper specifically for the 35 this week. [spoiler]Even though the void burn on Skolas was what ultimately made me do it, the PR is my all around favorite sniper for pvp as well, so it had more than one benefit for me.[/spoiler] The PR, when mixed with WoL deals about 5,500 damage per headshot. With 6 rounds in the clip, that turns out to be 33,000 damage done per clip. If you can manage to rapid fire and land all 24 headshots in a row, you 've single handedly put out 132,000 damage on the boss. If all three players do this, you are looking at a combined damage output of 396,000 damage on the boss. Now I know that having all three players do this perfectly is highly improbable, and it is in fact not what my team did to successfully down him. Our initial damage output was decent, however. My team used a 365 PR, and 2x 365 void jolders hammers on the boss. This successfully got Skolas down to 50% health after the first sevitor each attempt. The rest is just about communication and moving Skolas into better positions to take him down. The point here, is that PR might not do a lot a damage to the boss, but between its low recoil, and high RoF and reload speed, this gun can dish out quite a bit of damage. Snipe on, my friends.
