Shotguns need a ban in PvP
SHOTGUNS = Easy kill = NO SKILL required
that nerf to ammo drop is not enough, i want a full ban on those overpowered weapons
SHOTGUNS = NOT competitive
Learn to ADS with your primary GRUNTS
- HALO player
EDIT: I learned to use shottys and started to use them more often along side my TLW but my primary remains my primary tool of destruction

dude, the shot guns in destiny have the shortest range of any fps shoot out on the market. the friggen' warlock Mele has better range.

Shotguns are not even good in destiny. I never have problems keeping people out of range.

Hey chief Destiny universe is way after yours. How did you stay alive? Any way also a halo player so what. Unless running Felwinters and even then one shot kills rarely happen unless headshot. Its fair enough and the maps don't support medium range to well. Ever attempted to auto rifle at point blank? Rarely works oh wait they are even more useless post patch. Sounds like you don't maintain range with your primary.

1 ReplyEdited by ALIAS-F4LS: 5/15/2015 3:15:28 PM(Heads up, if you just want to get down to my solution read the bottom section) Just a reminder, everyone and anyone has access to a shotgun which are pretty anemic compared to shotguns in other known competitive shooters. Its just a fact that you don't wanna bring a sniper to up close map. Your either going to bring a fusion rifle which takes a bit to charge or a shotgun which fires the moment you pull the trigger. Remedy to the problem wouldn't be to completely strip players of a weapon type in the PvP half of destiny's content. Instead it would be wise to focus on making larger, less covered maps available that reward long range combat so that going into a fight players have to think out what gun is for the job. As of so far combat in the game is done at a mid to close range. All that needs to be done to fix this is maps that bring you into long range encounters. To sum it up the best solution is maps that encourage long range combat to balance out the fact there are so many close range maps. That and maybe shorten charge time on fusion rifles. You shouldn't think to strip players of their weapons but instead find ways to influence the use of other weapons for other combat tactics.

Go back to Halo then no body gives a shit. Is a game i dont need skills, I play to have fun. You take this shit to serious. Shotguns are great, they got nerf to shit. All of th were a one hit in close quarters( like is supose to be) but no some one ^^^^^^^^^ got But Hurt his EGO depleted because of a shotgun. This is not Halo dont apply the same tactics.
