How Will Anyone Get Thorn Now?
With Auto Rifles such as Atheon's Epilogue butchered as well as us not able to rely on special ammo, how will anyone get the Thorn. They seriously -blam!-ed up here. Unless you're a Warlock, you're essentially -blam!-ed.
Edit 1: I now realize that there are void heavies, but you cannot rely on heavy as it spawns no more than 3 times as game AND the enemies also have it as well. Using the Word of Crota as your primary will get you mowed down by a Last Word or some over powered weapon.

First time I did thorn bounty I did it with a void fusion rifle only, not hard took me a few matches to get the points needed. 2nd time I did the thorn bounty I did it with word of crota, always came out with a positive KD took no more then a few matches as well, this bounty is not hard a lot of ppl are just used to playing with really overpowered weapons that require no skill.

I used epilogue and a void jolders hammer. Honestly if you can maintain a 1.0 kd, you can do it in a good amount of crucible games. You literally have to die 3 times in a row multiple times to lose your points.

Using the epilogue will get you mowed down by other weapons you don't get paired up with the same weapon types the word has the fastest time to kill you'll be fine using that weapon

Atheon's epilogue still work pretty well. And there's also word of crota. Plus if you are a titan or warlock you have super/grenades/melee. Its not that hard of a bounty. Even as a hunter I finished it with zero void primaries within 3-4 matches.

6 RepliesI just got the crucible part done today, it didn't really take that long. which was surprising because I really am terrible at pvp. I decided to quit putting it off when I saw the weekly update. now I just need to kill xyor, should be fun.

Word of crota,sword breaker, any random secondary that has void.

I did it last night and I'm not that good at pvp. I had a hard time using WOC and switched to epilogue. it was much easier

Edited by Sixth Devil King: 4/12/2015 9:48:36 PMWord of Crota, Nova Bomb, Warlock grenades, titan Grenades, void felwinters, void shotguns in general, void snipers, void fusion like before, void rocket launcher (truth?) void machine gun... just dont die every second and you will do just fine. think before you do something. run with your teammates instead of solo into a group... save your special ammo until youre sure you get that one hit, dont waste it half across the map to get 7 dmg with your shotty... i did it with heavy only back then because i didnt had atheon or a void special. (i dont have the word of crota, but if you play smart i bet my ass you can shoot down that last word user. there are still people out there who own match by match with autos, just rank up your skills... and if it all fails... remember who that last word user is and simply avoid him/her. its not like you NEED to run straight to that guy and let yourself get -blam!- again, unless ofc you like that.)

I had the bounty before I had any decent weapons and before vault of glass was even opened and all I had was a void fusion and titan magnetic grenades. It was terrible and took like 3 days. I did it again after the dark below and knocked it out in a couple of hours

I did it recently with the Word of Crota, Praedyths revenge, and Truth/corrective measure. And I [i]suck[/i] at crucible. The whole bounty, start to finish, took me about 5 hours total. It was tough, but not terrible
