As I said before, we've had this debate. It devolved into him being condescending and dismissive. That's why, in my opinion, myself or anyone with my belief aren't willing to talk to him about it anymore. That's not an admission of defeat, that's simply not willing to have the discussion with HIM again. Being respectful to someone you disagree with goes a long way in life.
