• I prefer PvE for reasons all my own, though I will go into the Crucible when needed for faction gear/bounties.

    • I like pve better, it seems like pvp was just quickly added on before release.

      • Most of the people that complain about crucible are sony gamers . Why is that you ask ? They are not competitive gamers they have never had mlg , halo , gears of war and so on . I've played crucible on friends ps4 the competition is nothing compared to xbox one . In about six games my k/d averaged a 4.6 .

      • I've played my fair share of both, PVE is much more rewarding and PVP is good for when you need bounties done and wanna get away from PVE every now and then

      • This is the first shooter I've ever actually wanted because it was focused on co-operative multiplier rather than competitive, which I don't really find fun.

      • I came to this game thinking I would at least enjoy the pvp, and figured I'd be done with the pve side fairly quickly. The opposite turned out to be true. I find the pvp to be bare bones and unbalanced, and the pve has me addicted like no other non pvp game has before.

      • PvE is a grind-fest imo. Pvp has more replay value. Most people complain about PvP because they don't put enough time into it to get good at it. Sure, Crucible isn't perfect, but no multiplayer shooter is. You just have to learn what works for you.

        • I'm primarily a pvp gamer, but I dislike the pvp in this game. Personal opinion, yes I need to get gud, but I'm just not a fan of fusion rifles and shotgun spammers. Or at least create a game mode where we all have the same equipment with no supers. It's just honestly not fun when there's no skill involved, yenno? Walk around a corner and get one shotted before I can get off two bullets from a primary, like idk I just dislike the lack of skill it takes to be good in this game. Or give us a gametype similar to BR Snipes like Halo, or gun game in CoD. Idk. A gametype where we all have similar loadouts. Don't spawn everyone with one shot kill weapons that take no skill to use. Just my opinion, which no one cares about 'cause lol it's the Destiny forums.
Not even jellymad butthurt or anything with negative kd ratios, just don't enjoy the pvp.
• Most games Pvp but this game just has too many no skill kills for my liking. I came back few days ago after being off for a month.... First match: I run, someone FOH me, teamate nova him, GG shoots him back. I RESPAWN... Spawn killed by fusion... Run out and blink shotgunned.... RESPAWN and blade dancer,..., I had way too many deaths that match. I know I may be rusty but way too many insta kills in this game, that it squanders the talent of the skilled for the one with the Suros

          • I voted pve. I bought this game for the pvp, after a month or maybe two I realized I was playing it too much like cod, getting -blam!-ed up by all the 1HKO's, etc. Now I realize even a great player could be crushed by something completely out of their control in any way shape or form and is simply forced to deal with it. I get a lot of frustration from pvp, like almost every game will get under my skin one way or the other. At least with raids it's only till it takes forever does it really bug me. Overall; pvp is lackluster and frustrating, pve is less frustrating but at times more lackluster.

          • This is the first time I answered PvP. Might have something to do with figuring out how PvP works, but mostly it's because the end- game for PvE is really short. I don't like that the game is set up this way, but it's really PvE for gear with good stats and strong weapons so you can go play PvP. Really needs to be more PvE modes. You know, like horde mode like everyone has been asking for since release.

          • PvP ... more variety ... not as time consuming. ..and easier to be on a team (versus the Daily, Weekly, Nightfall and Raiding LFG visits )

          • Pve is simply better, pvp simply feels like an addon & it plays like an addon i.e. lacklustre & boring, kinda like tdb story missions & not to be played unless required.

I play both but raiding and strikes are way more fun to do with friends. I'm not too bad at PvP average over 25 kills every match but raids that cause strategy and communication is more fun to me

PvP is broken, lacks any kind of matchmaking and needs custom games. Randomly mixing newbs and experts is stupid. And the cheating is ridiculous.
