If it's an option why would anyone say no? The "no" crowd just wouldn't use it. Why do they care?

Wasting resources. I'd rather have an update that actually affects me rather than something that doesn't. I paid for the game therefore I helped contribute to the paychecks of the devs. It's like taxes. Would you want your tax dollars to fix a pothole on a main street, or go to a Waterpark. In this case the water park will be filled with bad water, because we all know raid mm won't go well
