Shoulder charge is underpowered, buff now
Edit: Let it die, I've had time to think about this game and everything is OP
Just watched a guy get top of the lobby in rumble with NOTHING but shoulder charge. Everytime he rounded a corner he was shoulder charging someone. Not OP? Hahahahaha! This amounts to nothing more than a panic mini super. You get it merely by doing something everybody does any way...sprinting. Why didn't any other class get a panic mini super?
Nerf this mechanic immediately. You shouldn't get a free kill just for sprinting for a couple seconds, which you were going to do anyways.
Edit: I have a titan striker that I use sometimes. I know how op shoulder charge is
Edit: To those titans trying to convince me shoulder charge is balanced...you're like the tobacco company trying to convince me smoking is good for you. You have no credibility.
Edit: Shotguns is the most common suggestion.

Actually I think all the melee attacks are all bit OP. Entirely too many one hit kills with melee attacks in PVP....

Charge is a bit OP because it's really easy to use it decently to some degree. Sure if you suck as a player you won't win but with charge you'll get a few kills. A good player works around it.

1 ReplyOMG just get better. I have a hunter. When I see a titan coming with a shoulder charge I throw a knife in his head. The game wasn't made for babies just figure out what counter attacks work.

Shoulder charge doesn't need a nerf. That guy used an ability at his disposal - he is doing what was intended. I don't have a Titan anymore (I run Hunter) but I see no problem with the shoulder charge. Then again, I rarely let any enemy get close enough to me to utilize such a technique because I am smart.

Get out the way. Nuthin pisses me off more than when my shoulder charge come up short cause someone better than me took a step back just outa range of the charge and blasted me in the face with a fusion rifle. It's all about timing. If you master it, then anything is op. A fusion rifle. Thorn. My space magic face smash is pretty fun. Damn people spend so much time of these forums bitching about op this and op that. The problem is the games's lack of content, plethora of bugs, and Destiny's asinine economy. Focus dood.

4 RepliesIt's a one hit kill, but your (directional) radar was lighting up like a Christmas tree... And no one could see it coming? This tells me there must have been a redonculous number of people standing still. That or the titan knew where to find campers and he just targeted those individuals over and over. Just for the record, a shotgun or fusion rifle to the head leaves the titan in the same status as the guy who ignores his radar.

One word. Shotgun! I can't tell you how many times I close in on an unsuspecting victim only to be stopped in my tracks by his shotgun. Trust me! SHOTGUN! Problem solved.

8 RepliesI think its balanced with other peoples special abilities. The hunter and warlock have that jump where they teleport and its very useful to get out of sticky situations and warlocks have that melee where they instantly get a shield. Hunters can go invisible. I use shoulder charge and sometimes i do good with it but other times people still kill me easily even in close quarters.

Shotgun him is he is constantly using shoulder charge. Have a variety of weapons to counter what certain opponents are doing. Some dude is sniping you? Take out your sniper rifle. Just because you are getting killed by something doesn't mean it should be nerfed.... grow some balls man...
