Why is there no nightfall for people that don't have the new dlc? When I bought the game, part of that was having weekly and daily missions/strikes. So by having the dlc strike as the nightfall, with no other option, your taking something away that was supposed to be included in my original game.

$20... Your getting left behind.
-
U should have thought about that before u bought the game. U got a pay to play
-
That's not how it should be, and they never said it would be that way. Thus, anger.
-
Thats how its been. Its already on disc, so? The developers decided how they wanted to release content. You knew this already and are complaining. You look stupid for supporting this far with the information you have. I knew this and bought the season pass so i really dont give 2 shits because i am ensuring i get all content, including "what is already on the disc" even though i dont have a disc because i got my shit digitally
-
Right so you're knowingly and unabashedly supporting the bad habits of the video game industry, and this somehow gives you a sense of pride. -blam!- it, I guess we'll get what we deserve then. You're a boot licker.
-
No i just have no issues with the current state of the game. You're getting butt hurt versus just not supporting the game. Seems as though you're alot more emotionally tied to this game than most. Get your feelings in check and either dont support or buy the dlc, either way you still get the heroic and nightfall, just not the dlc ones, ergo, you're not losing content, new content is just not available to you.
-
People without the dlc ARE losing content. They can't play nightfall when the strike is dlc- before the dlc, they could play nightfall each week. So that's less content.
-
No its the same content. You still get the nightfall and heroic, just not when its the dlc. You didnt lose the capability.
-
The dlc strike has been the nightfall strike 3 times in the last month. They lose the ability to do a nightfall every week. They are losing gameplay.
-
You can still play the nightfall when it comes around. The company is promoting its new dlc, of course it would be forefront for awhile. You see it up there enough, available on the new dlc, you may buy it otherwise just wait till it comes around. Dlc purchasers are priority while barebones gamers are second. You didnt lose the ability to play it, your content was just not in the lineup for that week. You act as if your completely locked out of it.
-
I have the dlc, for starters. Try being objective and consider that people who did not buy the dlc now have a worse game experience than they did before the dlc came out
-
Why? It is a choice. Individuals have a choice to support and must deal with possible ramifications of said choice. You are trying to be an equal rights advocate for a game where people can make their own decisions to support, based off their own knowledge of the game experience. Sit down, computer MLK and either enjoy the game or dont.
-
That "choice" you're talking about? The way you phrase it makes it sound like extortion.
-
Extortion is being forced, people are not being forced here. Either buy the dlc or dont. Extortion would be forcing someone to buy the dlc otherwise the game is unplayable. You are really fighting a losing battle here. With being said, im departing the thread.
-
How about forced to buy the dlc or certain weekly lists are sometimes unplayable? Weird.
-
They arent unplayable, people can still play the game, ergo, not extortion. Your just picking apples here. Very much a consistent troll.
-
No, I'm just an indignant consumer. You're being purposefully obtuse. The excessive choice of the dlc as a weekly is a strong arm tactic.
-
No its a promotion tactic to expose many to the new content. If your perspective is what you say, you would not have purchased the dlc. Its like the pot calling the kettle black.
-
My position in no way would impact whether or not to purchase the dlc. My position is that the implemented the dlc poorly and are punishing players that did not buy it.
-
But how does that apply to you since you purchased the DLC? Your fighting, saying that individuals are being "punished" for not purchasing from the perspective of someone who has purchased would make people think to purchase the DLC contradicting the point you are attempting to make....
-
Does being a male mean I can't argue for equal rights for women? Does being white prevent me from fighting racism towards minorities? Your logic is flawed.
-
Depends on perspective, you can fight but your status as a dlc purchaser may fall on deaf ears because you purchased and supported what you are telling others not to. Hypocritical dont you think?
-
I never said don't buy it. I just don't think we should have to, and I don't think people should be punished for not buying it. Hypocritical? No. Objective and just? Yes
-
Then why did you buy it if you feel you or others shouldnt have to? Thats not objective because you have a choice to make but that choice is not black or white.
-
You clearly have no idea what I'm saying, you're just looking for ways to try and tell me I'm wrong. Long story short: Destiny punishes players that don't buy the dlc, it will get worse the more dlc is released. This game franchise is a shadow of what it could have been because of a greedy publisher.
