Most disappointing game of 2014. There is only one answer, yes.
Where's the content has anybody found the story yet? Any new planets?
No split-screen yes it's 2014 but you'd rather all pay more for less. Some people use this option to play local as well as online with their friends, what about families where their teenagers share a console. It stifles no ones creativity, that's claptrap.
Always online for all game modes is the way of the future, it is for baboons and caterpillars anyway.
Broken loot system, it's a lottery. Good luck enjoy the grinding.
They should not have paid Paul Mcartney for that song and spent the money on finishing the game instead. (Sir Paul McCartney didn't do it for free, that's what inland revenue was told, unless Destiny is a registered charity). Christmas number one?

I hope you that those who stuck with it get what's owed to you. I really do.
Respond only if you agree and Merry Christmas

Destiny was a very disappointing a terrible game but I don't say it's the worst. *cough cough* Watch_Dogs *cough*
-
2 RepliesYes. Not because it was a bad game, but because they promised us too much.
-
1 Reply2013-2014 worst year for games in general.
-
tl;dr
-
3 RepliesI love this game have no complaints with it. U guys just set ur standards to high for this game because bungie made it. The game is not goin to be perfect. Plus it's meant for u to have fun, not to complain about it. The people complaining about gettin banned and stuff like that quit the whining and go play somethin else. I'm not trying to offend anyone just go pick up another game it's that simple.

No worse game of the year hands down was AC:Unity

That Hashtag proves that's it's only disappointing because you built it to be something it wasn't

2 RepliesIf you don't enjoy it, sell it and quit whining you bitch. -blam!-, all I see is "How bad is Destiny" or "Worst game ever", I for one, enjoy Destiny. Yes they may lack a load of content and other stuff etc, but if you don't like it, get rid of the game, its players like you that suck so bad you moan about it. Let me guess why you cry so much, can't beat VoG still or struggling to get to level 30? Oh wait, it's because you're bad. As for the loot system, it is fine in my eyes, just because you have to grind to get gear you cry, stop being a pussy and work for it, you aren't 12. A lot of people slate Bungie about how shit Destiny is, for all they are trying to do is give gamers a new experience, nothing is ever perfect, not the first time round any way, at least 80% of you on the forums don't even know how to make a bed, let a lone a game. So quit whining and stop being a pussy fart.

1 ReplyWhy not include a no option? Afraid of poll results?

Edited by roctorok: 12/13/2014 2:50:50 PMIs this the most disappointing post of 2014?

2 RepliesOut of all of the games I have played this year, this is the only one that was advertised as an amazing, epic adventure and turned out to be nothing like that, so yes, I agree it is the most disappointing game of 2014. That said, the game isn't bad, it just didn't live up to the hype. People say "lower you expectations", but if the game was advertised to be amazing it should have been amazing, I shouldn't expect anything less than what the developers advertise. Unfortunately that's how it works now, hype your game so everyone buys it only to find out it's not all that great after all of the money has already been taken.
-
2 RepliesI'm still loving every minute of my time spent playing this. Sorry! :(
-
-
Dude, basically it's the most under-performing game you just absolutely love to play... Nuff said...
-
8 RepliesThe game isn't so much the problem, it's that they didn't make good on the hype. Lower your expectations and Destiny isn't so bad.

3 RepliesI'll ignore the sheep comments. It's simple, really. This game was advertised, by Bungie, as something epic. In every aspect from a hugely story driven narrative to massive open, explorable worlds. A and Z failed horribly while everything in between has mediocre, at best. Though I do enjoy the gunplay a lot. It's a lot of fun. The only real enjoyment I have received (other than the few friends I've made of course.) through my 500 hours of game time. I didn't fall for any hype. I simply believed that Bungie would deliver on THEIR promises. Why? Because they sold a really great concept and even showed us some really epic things that had not been done on consoles so far (or in the way they envisioned it) and that seemed, to me, like a game worth buying. I didn't follow it super close, but I did try and keep up with the developer interviews through the course of the creation and the final product is simply NOT what they said they were making. If you like the game that's fine, but this is NOT the Destiny that Bungie themselves said it would be. That's just a fact.

You forgot the no option there man.
-
You didn't include it so here it is, NO.
