Legendary Engram Turned into a 300 Attack Rifle, Rather Than 331
I was given a Legendary Engram Earlier today and was pleased to see that it turned into an Unwilling Soul-09 with a good perk roll. Only when I attempted to use it in the new strike did I realise it started with base 248 Attack rather than 272 Attack, like I thought the new update ensured?
Why was I given an older variant of the weapon, does anybody know? Also, would it ever be possible to get the variant I "should have" received?

1 ReplySame thing happened to me today. It was an engram I got from a chest on Mars. Turned into a Swarm machine gun with the old 300 attack damage max. Wondering if its because it came from a chest.

It's been odd. One legendary engram I got gave me old gloves. Another engram gave me upgraded Ghallijhorn. Another gave me new Titan chest.

2 RepliesNice, I got a legendary heavy engram earlier only to have that rat bastard rahool give me two ascendant energy instead of a nice new heavy. Nice to see he is still worthless.
