Throwing knife headshot should be a kill
Shoulder charge, scorch melee, blink strike all examples of instant kill melees. Why not make a throwing knife headshot instant kill? Gunslinger sub class is already underpowered enough. Give hunters a chance!

5 RepliesIf you ask me, Titans are the one needing a melee buff. They got totally dumped on by the Sunsinger's high damage, ranged and self-shielding melee. Worst part is that the Striker was touted as the "CQC king".

It's all about balance. Not every class has the best attacks and skills.

7 RepliesI don't think this should be in. Its to easy to get a kill then with a knife then. It should just do extreme damage. Also A knife going in to these extreme futuristic armour pieces doesn't seem realistic.

No it should not in my opinion. Almost every throwing knife I throw in crucible is a headshot. With gamblers dagger and the reset on headshot kill perk I pretty much never run out of knives. I would never even need to fire my gun if the headshot was a one hit kill which would be pretty OP

7 RepliesOk so say hunter gets a insta-kill melee. Titan gets one ( yes i know he/she has one already) Warlock doesn't have one... But wait theres more. The THROWING knife is a projectile. Titan has to get their insta kill weapon a projectile mode. Warlock needs one too now. Do you get my point?

Blink Strke deals the same amount of damage as normal melee, except for Backstab perk.

1 ReplyWhile I do agree with you, Scorch isn't Insta kill, warlocks do however get a shield from using it which means you're most likely gonna die if you have half health and you're fighting someone with an extra shield And blink isn't Insta kill either.

Scorch melee is not instant kill.

Handcannon, pulse rifle, fusion rifle to the gave should be a 1 shot kill...but this is a video game. RL physics are out the window. +1 tear due to recent Bungie patch
