I Use A Handcannon...
Exactly as it sounds. I USE A HAND CANNON. I do just fine. My best games, i used a handcannon. The raid? Yup hand cannon. Crucible. Handcannon.
I never used a shotgun, and i never relied on my AR. I dont have the mythoclast or the pocket infinity. Problem?
No. Because i use a hand cannon, and there is never any complaints about them. Nobody ever says they are op. Nobody ever calls for a nerf.
I went 38-11 in clash. No AR, no shotgun. But i did have my hand cannon. I got the mark of the unbroken... with my hand cannon.
You do not need ARs or shotguns or the vex mythoclast to do well in the game. All you need is determination and skill.
Not saying the ARs are op, but they were everywhere, as with the shotguns. Ive beat them before, many times. Now this isnt a thread saying that the nerf is unfair. No. This is a thread saying that NOW that those weapons are balanced, you better watch out...

I love hand canons. They have been made much better since the beta. And I enjoy building up Chain of Woe with my Gunslinger. I also use most weapons in the game. A bit of variety is also great in Destiny. Use the tools you feel comfortable with but I've been pleasantly surprised by the variety of weapon handling in the arsenal of the game.

My first run of VoG, the experienced players were saying "this is running smooth compared to my other weeks." We stop for a quick discussion and realize 4 people were using hand cannons.

What is the point of this? I use a Hand Cannon as well but no one cares what you or I use so what make this posting? I use a hand cannon because scout rifles look bad, and this game showed off the Monitor S11 but did not add it so that look was stolen from me lol.

2 RepliesBTW the hand cannons just got a huge buff that most people might overlook. As far as I can tell your accuracy is the same while in the air as it is on the ground with a HC. All the other weapons are useless when you're in the air so this definitely comes in handy in crucible.

I tried using Hand Cannon, 8 round level 20 Rare, post patch instead of Shadow Price. On my second match in Clash, I had top overall score and our team won!

I don't PVP, but hand cannons are my go-to-tool. I always manage to get most kills when I use one, even with people who use them too. :) I love them.
