Is there anything you'd like to see them put in the next raid that wasn't in the first?

Edited by what's the frequency,: 10/3/2014 5:15:19 AM
Of course! That's the point of new raids. I think one thing would be more climatic bosses. The templar, gate lord, oracles were meh. I didn't even know it was considered a boss until i got loot. I guess excluding the gate lord... Let's see... one thing is the repetition. I think more randomness would be better. (I should mention, I've only done it on normal mode). For example, roles can be assigned, but there isn't a routine. Like 3 randoms are teleported, rather than three easily determined members of the raid. I would also like to see a damage sponge boss like the big Colossus-style boss on mars strike. Can't remember the name... Val Tua'arc? I know it's basic, but having a boss fight that you can't get into a routine for would be good, something that just attacks nonstop, gets faster throughout, and is basically a SKILL check, rather than a gear check. I think a boss that are direct mirrors of the raid (either with incredible AI or enhanced damage, armor, life, and of course minus the revives... or not! That'd be interesting! I liked the physical aspects, the jumping puzzle, the labyrinth was one of my favorite parts, but it was short-lived. One person who knows the maze takes over. I think alternate dimensions or something would be cool, but not a boss, like each person makes their own way. One dies, no one else does, and so on. Same deal, loot chests and stuff. Something requiring more situational awareness at an individual level would be cool. Up the challenge. I think a floor is lava-style boss is always fun. Don't stand in the fire type stuff, or mario-style lines of fireballs. I also think a Raid vendor would be good. That was always fun in WoW, getting rep for a warring faction in a raid zone and buying weapons and armor from the raid. OHOH!! and set armor! Things that pull from ideas of game. Warlocks wearing the Speaker's armaments and Titan's dressed like Colossuses, hunters wearing Vandal or captain-style armor, stuff like that. I feel like running through the raid is great and all, but i haven't gotten a single 'Raid gear' piece of armor. I've done it twice, but to not get a single piece of armor is the only part of loot that i have a problem with. I can't get to 29 to even try the hard raid, and that's an RNG block in progression.
Well, I'm on board! I like all of those ideas. Now I haven't done the raid yet so I have nothing to compare any of this to, however all of it sounds like it would be fun if implemented. I like the idea for separate paths at one point where you meet up later if you make it through.
