lol at people saying destiny is a fail
It's hella funny to me people saying that it flopped. PUT DOWN THE GAME THEN AND LET US PLAY. "Lack of content" "crucible blows" STFU and get off and go play call of duty or somthing. I have no Problems with the game besides 30fps other than that a GREAT game in general so go f yourself in the A and please just stop complaining. THANK YOU

43 RepliesSo basically screw people for having opinions? Their campaign was 6.5 hours long. The same as Halo 4. That is hardly worth noting for an open world game. You are also blind/deaf if you believe the narrative was worth any deal of notice

Im with you man. Idk what everyone was expecting with this game as far as what they thought they'd get out of the box. It offers just as much, if not more than any other vanilla mmo (which lets be real, this is most comparable to an mmo). My expectations were so high for this game and yet they've been met. They created an awesome universe.

Then you ask them " well what didn't meet your expectations?" And they can't even describe what bugs them about it. The problem with this generation of gamers is that they have unrealistic expectations and then don't even know what those expectations are. It's pure entitlement. If a game doesn't blow them away or change their life, then it's a failure. Does destiny have flaws? Sure. Every game in history, even the great ones, have their share of cons. If you don't like the game, then perhaps the problem isn't a poor game, maybe it's just not for you. For whatever reason, this is unacceptable to people. Once again, entitlement.

ok, before I do a quick critique of what I thought of Destiny, let me first say I do enjoy playing the game. But here is where I have problems and concerns about the longevity of it: The storyline was extremely short and had almost no plot development. People of significance in the story aren't even named, but there are named bad guys in most of the storyline missions and strikes. When you go to visit the Awoken in the Reef, you don't even know what the Queen's name is; she is just referred to as The Queen. Really? We should at least know the name of someone of that importance. How did "The Queen" get a couple of Fallen bodyguards? What do Future War Cult, New Monarchy and Dead Orbit stand for? My point is that this game felt more like a prologue than a full story. I do understand that Bungie has a 10 year plan for this game; but if what's out right now is all there is, its a bad showing.

The gameplay and PvP are great. Don't see how anyone could defend this game's "story" though.

But I really think the people how are trying to write this game off are people how just want kill each other all day in death matches and that's not what this game is really for and that's great to me . I think Destiny as a deeper meaning more team based driven and it doesn't matter if you have been playing it for a long time or just beginning everyone can enjoy every aspect of the game like one example like if I'm play COD and trying to play the mission objective all your teammates or focus on is still getting kills not the objective I just really think people are missing the greater point of this game what do you guys think?[/quote]

5 RepliesEveryone paid for the game, so surely everyone has a right to an opinion on the game? The reason people are complaining is because they want better. You shouldn't settle for average when a game has such a massive budget. Complaints might be a bit whiny at times. but at least it allows bungie to learn from their mistakes and make the sequel the game this could have been. It's not terrible, but it's not 10/10 either. It's a decent game.
