Why is Black Ops II the best CoD?
Face it. Great story with different endings and choices. Awesome stats and challenges to complete and you get to unlock guns to use in story like a Death Machine.
Multiplayer is fun as hell with good balance. The main bad things are hit detection, LMGs with TF, and lag. Zombies with friends? Why not?! League Play is fun with friends who want a challenge and fairly balanced. Hell, look at your friends list right now! Who is passing Goats? No one, everyone else is on Blops Deuce actually having fun and not being in a bore fest known as Ghosts.
UI is on par with Reach, too.
Right now as I type this, 158k people are playing, and this is normal throughout the week.

1 Reply- Great campaign with choices up to the player that affects the story, something not seen in CoD before. - Allows the customization of weapons/perks in campaign before starting a mission allowing you to play the levels differently each time. - Multiplayer is balanced and fun to play. Every weapon from each class is useful and effective to use on players. There's not that one weapon(ex. CoD 4 MP5/M16, WaW MP40, Blops 1 Famas) that dominates every other gun. - Killstreaks are not OP and the choice they offer is awesome. The killstreaks are all fun to use and get kills with. The AGR and Warthog are my favorites. - Whole different way for custom classes in multiplayer. You can choose to go in with every perk or no perks at all, allowing for different experiences in multiplayer each time you spawn in a match. - Game runs on MW3's engine but this game looks like a block of gold compared to the nasty shit that MW3 is. MW3's color pallete was ugly and terrible. Blops 2 does a great job by utilizing all different types of color schemes to make the game look pretty. - Blops 2 has great maps and the DLC has even more great maps to offer, including a return of some old favorites. I enjoy playing on 95% of the maps whereas in MW3, every map was god awful and ugly. Blops 2's maps are great in every way, shape, and form. - Zombies is great like always and is still a blast to play with friends. My favorite maps are Mob of the Dead and Buried. They're so much fun and everything in those maps are cool to use and have a blast with friends. Treyarch never fails when it comes to their Zombie game mode. Blops 2 is offering the same(probably even more) enjoyment than MW2, the last CoD game I loved before this one. Its the best CoD since MW2 and I support Treyarch 100% in whatever they will bring next.

PC version is great. My only annoyance is the maps. Out of the other CoD's many of BLOPS2 maps feel a bit too squished. The spawns just kinda ruin it for me. But as for the weapons and choices? Very nice.

I agree Blops 2 is the best. Multiplayer feels solid, great graphics, really fun maps, and, as you pointed you, the campaign is absolutely amazing. All this PLUS a custom emblem maker, pretty much sealed it as the #1 CoD in my book. MW2 takes a close second to me.

Cod4 is better. But I agree, BO2 is great. League play is online FPS perfection.

Call of Duty 4 was far and away the best COD, a contender for best game of the previous generation, and regardless an all time classic video game. None of the other COD games fit that description. Both Blops games are great. COD 1 and 2 are really great. Nothing comes close to COD 4.

Black Ops 2 was probably my favorite of the series, really enjoyed how they opened up the zombies part of the game, league play was fun. It was a lot better than Ghosts, I could never get into that game. Hell I had more fun with MW3 with their Type-95 users. Black Ops 2 had it's flaws but they really had something with the pick 10 system. It really gave you the freedom to customize your classes to a new level. I wish Infinity Ward hadn't try to reinvent it. :-L

wasnt a big fan of most of the gun selections (an94, msmc, pdw were too good), netcode was horrible for me. every other game i was lagging up a storm, getting shot around corners. maps were ehh for me, they all consisted of a "3 lane" approach, where every map has 3 lanes through the map to each spawn

I'd follow that with Ghosts given its awesome departure from the copy and paste we have gotten over the last five or six years, but Call of Duty 2 is the only absolute.

2 RepliesBlack ops 2 (and you can't argue cause its fact) has shit hit detection, poor ai, unbalanced guns, terrible knife system (do it I dare you try and knife someone 20% chance of you actually hitting someone who's standing still) and zombies had a shit story (this you really can't argue with since even treyarch had no clue what they were doing)
