1 ReplyI'll say this: It's a turd that's so thoroughly polished that it appears to be gold. However, upon examination, it's still a turd. In other words, it's an anime that's extremely good at pretending that it's good, while it's actually really, really stupid. Entertaining? Sure, it's a great way to kill time. However, if you want a plot that's not stupid, look elsewhere.

1 ReplyI enjoyed it, it's not the best or my favourite but I like the show. I just skim over any major plot holes or flaws and take it as pretty popcorn entertainment. The ED for the second Arc is one of my favourite pieces of music of all time, even if the 2nd arc was a bit... wat. I'm happy there is going to be a second season of it, because despite it's flaws it was a great show. There are still lots of better ones out there to watch so it's good that people are using it to get into Anime and find other shows.

3 RepliesI've replied to a few post on here already, but I really like the anime. It's tied for my all time favorite, but I recognize that they rushed the story a bit because they literally had to fit 3 books worth of information into the first season, which is only 25 episodes long. Because of that they had to leave a LOT of story stuff out, and even more specific details that made a big difference.

After that it turned into Kirito getting all the bitches. The action was fun, but it was lacking in most other areas. Great potential wasted.
