Am I the only one here who thinks Red Vs Blue sucks now.
The first 5 seasons were great and season 7/8/9 were meh..too (recreation/relocation was pretty good though) and now it just sucks.
It's not even trying to be funny anymore. I'm not saying that as an insult: it's literally not supposed to be funny. There are no attempts at humor. Apparently it's supposed to be really serious. But who the hell watches Red vs Blue for a serious plot? The effects are snazzier and the production value has obviously gone up, but I don't give a shit about that. I want talking bombs and alien babies, damn it!
So many plot twists too, Tex ISNT Tex, Church ISNT Church and Freelancers are basically Spartans.
"But it needz to evolvez!"-------lol its popularity wasn't declining at all, it was stable if not rising and besides its popularity was huge anyway.
Lets just change the series completely what it was about even though fans liked the humor and less serious plot and they had no reason to change it at all because the series was already immensely popular. The series has gone less popular now lol.
Oh and lets not forget the fact that Red vs blue isn't even RED vsing BLUE anymore. Seriously, more like Red united with Blue.
I'm on season 10 though, so yeh..maybe season 11 will be better.
Dem action scenes though (I preferred when there weren't those action scenes though).

It's changed, sort of like how halo changed. Some people won't care, some people will suddenly start liking it, and others will stop. I fall into the first group, because I like both styles.

1 ReplyThere were plenty of funny moments during the freelancer story and the new season there was 0 CGI effects. You should watch stuff before making judgement calls on them

I stopped enjoying it when the show developed Cerberus syndrome. I think season six was the last I tried to watch.

Season 11 is less fast paced. Monty is now getting his "Monty Vision" usage with RWBY. I start really keeping up with it around the end of Season 5, so the changes were very gradual to me. I did like the CGI, but going back to traditional Machinima was kinda neat. But, then again, creepy as -blam!- Elijah Wood was pretty cool.

When every single new character was supposedly immensely cool I lost interest. Seasons 6-8 were even quite good, though Season 9 was literally a non-season. I gave up a few episodes into 10.

We've been over this people, there is no Red Vs. Blue season 10, there isn't even a RvB seasons 6-9. RvB finished after season 5, any new material would probably just be unfunny shit to continue a story to milk the series like freelancers or some shit. [spoiler]Red Vs. I loved the freelancer storyline and the whole series for that matter, so I don't mind much. I also hear Season 11 goes back to basics, kinda like Seasons 1-5.

It was great with CGI but then got bad with Freelancers arch. They should've just made a spin off series.
