I have played all the call of duty games and I. Feel like I'm getting the exact same thing with each purpose. Maybe I get a few more or less got markers and new guns but I think the games are just much too repetitive. I won't be buying ghosts or any of the other cod games, personally I think they should stop making the games altogether.. But that won't happen anytime soon, will it? What have you guys got to say about this? It's just my opinion so go easy..

Maybe GameStop had a major label crisis and you litteraly bought the same game over and over again. :)

1 ReplyThink of CoD as the rated 'M' equivalent of Angry Birds, FIFA, or Madden. It receives yearly iterations, consistent, extremely accessible, well supported until the next release, and most importantly, very easy to pick up and play. There are games like Counter-Strike, Dota, Halo, StarCraft, where the skill gap is blatantly wide. A new player could never stand toe-to-toe with a veteran in these games. What CoD does, however (and I witnessed this first hand), is enable someone who has never even touched an FPS game before to at least perform reasonably. That's important to its success, but unfortunate for people like me who enjoy the brutal learning curve of a game (Dark Souls, Dota2 <3) and not to mention, it pisses me off when other developers taint their games by attempting to use CoD as some model (I am looking at you 343i). For the CoD franchise to show meaningful improvement upon iteration, I think the dev cycle needs to be 2-3 years - of course, that's time and money. But time and money makes a better game.

Bungie is going to buy Activision. I kan feel it!

Me being a teenager, it kind of bothers me knowing that all people in the different schools i've been in just play Call of Duty. There are so many better games yet they waste their time with this mediocre bull crap. The only reason why I keep buying call of duty is because I like to play with my friends Other than that I won't even touch the game at all.

1 ReplyI think they will continue to make COD for at least 5-10 years.....This franchise is a money distributor. Why people still buying it? I don't know. A lot of people (mostly kids) only play COD and miss a bunch of better and different games.

Edited by TheDesertRanger: 8/13/2013 11:02:30 PMPeople buy call of duty because so many youtubers praise call of duty and only mention other games to say the latest CoDs better and 'unqiue'

Congrats, you have the opinions of every other gamer

They are kind of the same

1 ReplyThan why is it still one I the most played games? Or will that just be a mystery forever?

5 RepliesEdited by BADMAGIK: 7/30/2013 12:19:36 AMIt took you this long to figure this out? It was repetitive after COD 4. At least DICE changes things with every new BF.
