That was really fun, Goat! The island is really cool. I imagine the tours would be pretty fun with four people.
I got my development permit today and I saw Tortimer, who said the boat would start coming to the jetty tomorrow. And I finally got a net! It's all very exciting.
Still no slingshot, but my "pop the balloons with a shovel" technique is working pretty well...

Ya I still haven't gone with more than one player but it'll be a nice break from grinding and path work all day. I'm still trying to get my villagers to give me some interesting projects to spice up my town, but all they care about is using me to catch fish or bugs for them -____- Also, dunno if you know this about New Leaf, but it's bad to run on grass because it'll deteriorate and make your ground look like dirt. Only way to grow it back is to plant flowers on the dirt, but that takes months. Unfortunately, even paths don't stop the grass from dying. It's a dumb mechanic that virtually nobody likes, but you get used to it. At least, when my town is done, you wont really see much grass to care.

They kept that feature? I would've thought they'd take it out... That's annoying. Ooh, I was able to go to my Island today! In the gift shop they had Club Tortimer membership, which lets you play tours with random people, which is pretty cool. I also got to play the hammer game, which I really liked. And I got a scuba mask! Also, the little cat was in my town. She's not lost like in previous games, but she wants me to take her to a different town. Feeling hospitable?
