Why I still won't buy an Xbox One despite the DRM removal
It still shows that they are a greedy, evil, and restrictive company who do not care about their consumers at all. It is like North Korea, they go about on their tantrums and then settle down and stop their rampant threats. Just because they stopped for now doesn't make them a good country, nor does it make amends for their past wrongs. And just because they stopped for now doesn't mean they won't do it again in the future. Imagine one year or two years from now, Microsoft may reimplement these DRM features and maybe even add more. They do now care about their customers. They just care about making a profit.

Just spend it on something which you prefer, rather than worrying about the company you're buying it from. Other than it, I really don't think people like you ever gave a shit about the restrictions nor the extra $100, they already had it in their mind that they were going to purchase a PS4, but just hate on the Xbox One in the meantime.

Wanting their cake, and getting to eat it too. Pay for cheap, used games, without giving a single -blam!- about supporting developers and publishers for the games they love. Then they complain why we see games get "milked", because gamers can't shell out some extra money to support them. It's everywhere. And let's think about this, you're calling a business like MS greedy, all the while Sony used the business model equivalent of making fun of the kid in your first grade class for pissing his pants that one time, and repeatedly kept reminding everyone about it, to win your money. Why do you think now on the Ps4, you have to pay for your subscription? It's because Sony knew that they could get away with it, they weren't stupid like microsoft when they tried screwing us over.

Well, for one thing, all businesses are in it for the money. But Microsoft tried to screw us all over, and they will way dearly for it. That's like when someone tries to murder me, and then changes their mind when they realize the consquences... Why would I give them my money after that?

Sony and Microsoft are companies. The very reason they exist is to make money. Sony may blurt out that they care about the consumer, and that the consumer is the top priority, but they're just talking out of their ass in that situation. They're marketing. Sony: "We think that the consumer comes first." (not an actual quote) ^^^ That was marketing that they just ensnared you in.
