I hear so many arguments against it, including (but not limited to) "the baby has no say in the decision", "it's mutilation", and "it cuts of tons of nerve endings."
But it's not like your hardware is any less functional when you're circumcised. Everything still works, and you're just down a flap of useless skin.
What's the big deal?

1 ReplyBy that logic, we might as well have the option to remove anything that doesn't make the human body any less functional. Either way, foreskin serves a purpose.

1 ReplyEdited by AcedannyK: 6/14/2013 6:51:13 PMPeople defend it for one very simple reason: because it's a tradtition. If it wasn't a thing and somebody suddenly proposed we carry it out, they'd be outright assaulted with disapproval. Now you think about that.

Edited by Closed Account: 6/14/2013 7:11:25 PMI'm glad I'm circumcised. Apparently many women find it more attractive and it's cleaner. People who complain about it are simply desperate to complain about something. And point supported: http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/circumcision/MY01023/DSECTION=why-its-done

2 RepliesSince nobody is still talking about it, I'm bringing it up again. Give me a solid reason why the opinions of some should be forced into others. Only two reasons are justified in my mind: The loss of life or the loss of such significant quality of life. So tell me how circumcision either kills the baby or leads to a significant quality of his life.

7 RepliesI was circumcised and I don't care. People who are against it say that "It is extremely painful to the baby", but I can honestly say I have zero, zip, zilch recollection of the pain that I went through.
-
Circumcision actually reduces the risk of a certain type of cancer.
-
Gosh, it's almost like people don't like having a (usually cosmetic) procedure done to them without their consent.
-
4 RepliesApparently i'm a freak for being uncircumcised ):
-
Never circumcised and love my extra flap of skin. I won't go into detail, but it allows me to do a bunch of things you circumcised folks cant.
-
The biggest points are: A. It's completely useless and pointless. B. People have died during this mutilation. People say circumcision is cleaner. You know what actually is? Washing yourself properly. This is the 21st century. Come on.

3 RepliesEdited by Cortana Five: 6/13/2013 10:19:16 PMI don't have a penis, but this is what I know: Circumcision: -reduces the risk of urinary tract infection in the first year of life by up to 90 percent. -gives males a less likely chance to get infected with a long list of sexually transmitted diseases -reduces the chances that men will spread HPV to their wives and girlfriends, protecting them from getting cervical cancer. But as a woman, I can kind of relate with those against it. Women have gone through years of genital mutilation (mainly as "punishment" for being female, making sexual intercourse very painful), so I can see where concern comes up. I don't have a penis, so I won't take a stance on it until/if I have a baby boy of my own.
-
I'm guessing people think it's against nature.

4 RepliesFrom what I've told cut men have little to no feeling in the tip of their dick For the longest I felt embarrassed knowing that I was more than likely the only person that was "different" amongst my friends, but now that I realize that there are perks for having the extra skin I couldn't care less, regardless, if a chick wants your dick, she'll -blam!-in' take it

stupid jews
-
What is this circumcision you speak of?
-
sex with a foreskin is probably the best thing in the world. really couldn't imagine life without this here flap of skin
-
Wait having a circumcised penis is weird? I thought it was the norm!
-
7 Repliesmy parents cut off a good chunk of my penis it couldve been twice the size. that makes me really pissed.
-
1 ReplyCause they are mad their parents didn't get them cut. Now they have to live with a mushroom dick.
-
1 ReplyI have no idea. I'm glad I was circumcised.
-
2 RepliesBecause it is pointless Genital mutilation. That skin is there for a reason, although there isn't a considerable bad point about it, it is simply pointless, and quit frankly, very painful for babies, how aren't numbed before hand.
-
But it's not like your hardware is any less functional when you're circumcised. Everything still works, and you're just down a flap of useless skin.
Ignoring the fact that the foreskin is full of nerve endings that makes, experiences, more enjoyable..........by your logic we should also cut off ear lobes because everything will still work, you're just down a flap of useless skin.
-
I want my foreskin back, but it rotted in a landfill.
-
No ill effects on my circumcised dangly bits. i have no problem with it.

1 ReplyWhy does everyone get so heated about female abortion, but when I flush millions of potetial lives down the toilet nobody cares?
-
Mostly because it's a third world practice that isn't really needed all that much in a first world society, nowadays people just do it for cosmetic reasons and then make several "medical" comments and blow them out of proportion to make their way seem the right way instead of it being gen¡tal mutilation.
