Destiny for PC?
I have a console, I'm not likely to get a new one till big price drop. And most of the people I game with are on the PC. And the fact I can Pre-order Destiny for everything BUT the PC has me worried. There IS a pc market for it and I'm hoping this poll will make it clear to Bungie.

As a PC gamer (i prefer the accuracy of a mouse for most games, controller for driving games and fighting games) I was really dissappointed when i heard this was Consoles only. Apparently the architecture of the nextgen consoles are very similar to modern PCs so in theory it should be pretty simple to port it over to PC, which im my opinion is a good thing. There will certainly be a big audience for it if the game does get released on PC, i think everyone would agree on that.

I have a PC capable of playing the next gen PC ports, I just hope Destiny is ported as well...

The game should be on PC under ONE condition. PC gamers should stop talking shit about console gamers and vice versa. I play games on the PC and I cringe when people embarrass pc gamers by being obnoxious. I would definitely want it for PC :)

One of the only reasons for buying the xbox one for me was Halo 5 and Destiny. But if it was released on PC i would just forget the xbox one. I want this on PC!

4 RepliesI believe that Destiny would work better on Consoles instead of PC. I don't mean to hate on PC's, I just have better accuracy with joy-sticks instead of a mouse. I am a PC/PS/XB gamer.

Bungie... Please bring Destiny to PC... I am getting a next Gen console anyways, but I'd love this to be on PC. I'm not a PC "Master Race" but my gaming experience has always been better on a PC... EYE CANDY!!!

1 ReplyIf they did release a PC version, but you had started on a console, would you be able to carry over your character/profile? Most multi-platform games I know of won't, but if it's essentially server-side I don't see why not.

That said, I don't want there to be no word on whether it'll be on PC or not, the game releases, and then a few weeks after release Bungie announces a PC port. That would severely piss me off. Announce a PC version of Destiny [i]before[/i] release, or don't announce it at all.

1 ReplyAfter watching the gameplay at E3 i was honestly blown away. This game looks fantastic and any FPS that is only console exclusive seems like a waste. If its money thats the problem then do a kickstarter and you will see just how much u will make from pc gamers for quality games like this.

1 ReplyI have had xbox live for 9 years and have played all the halo games on xbox. That said I'd love to [b]play Destiny on PC[/b] and probably will not purchase the game for a console. Additionally if it comes out on PC and Sony lets PC and PS4 gamers play together it'd super boost sales on PS4 and PC. That'll hopefully get Microsoft to open up XBL and let PS4 and XboxOne games play together. Unfortunately Microsoft has a huge track record of doing the wrong thing.... sooo yeah, there's always that.

1 ReplyI love PC gaming and I think it's absolutely incredible. I'm going to be playing on console, but that doesn't mean PC people don't deserve it. I just think you're going to need the most hyped up PC in the universe ever in the world. And then Mac people will start complaining because if PC gets it so should Mac and blah blah blah blah blah disputes. I do think they might be casting away a bit of a large audience by not announcing it for PC.

10 RepliesIf Bungie decided to support PC for Destiny they'd likely choose to support Mac as well. That means each developer, and each tester, needs to have five more environments at their disposal. 2 playstations, 2 xboxes, 1 Mac, 1 wintel with nvidia, 1 wintel with ati, an amd with nvidia and an amd with ati. Verifying tr game works across such a host of devices is nothing short of a nightmare, and is possibly why some cross platform games are so unbelievably buggy *cough cough skyrim cough" Choosing to limit scope in exchange for quality is absolutely the right choice, and choosing platforms that have the easiest accessibility isn't a bad decision either IMO.

Since Bungie is already porting the game to so many consoles what is more likely is that they're going to release the game first, then start work on a PC port.
