I have a console, I'm not likely to get a new one till big price drop. And most of the people I game with are on the PC. And the fact I can Pre-order Destiny for everything BUT the PC has me worried. There IS a pc market for it and I'm hoping this poll will make it clear to Bungie.

#Destiny

3 RepliesShouldn't be on PC cause Destiny is going to completely optimized for ps4(Please no hate Xbox one'rs) Just look how Bungie is advertising Playstation in everything Destiny.
-
There is seriously no need for caps. I meant no hate for Microsoft. Sony has had there problems and so has Microsoft but that is not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about Destiny and how they're approaching next gen. That is all

3 RepliesIt's nice to see a thread on this. I too would really, really like to have this game on PC as soon as possible. This game is the only reason I'm even considering buying one of the new consoles.
-
2 RepliesShould definitely be on as many platforms as possible. At the end of the day we are all one thing, gamers.

2 RepliesWhy would you vote no?

8 RepliesI think you people need to stop complaining and puck up. Either don't pay attention to games that aren't on your PC console. Just get the game you want on a console that it will be released on.
-
14 RepliesI want it to not be on pc for one simple reason. PC "master races" are assholes. They always go on on how they have the best games, they have mods, better graphics. But when a good console game comes along their butthurt is ridiculous. Then they will brand the game as bad. You can't have everything you PC jerks.

1 ReplyPiracy is the reoccurring theme. If you think they don't have those worries for consoles as well you are mistaken. Counter is: but it's so much worse on pc! While true for some games, mmo's and multiplayer games have constant traffic and are monitored so as to prevent cheating hacking and the like. People get banned all the time in mmo's. piracy is something already handled in that environment. Worried/envious of pc ability to "mod"? Non issue. A modded game would be incompatible with another persons game unless they had the same mods. Making multiplayer unfeasible for modded games. Unless your fine soloing and never being able to play with people, modding is unlikely.

2 RepliesNaturally should be on PC - no one should miss out on this beauty.

Bungie said they are only making Destiny on consoles but that doesn't mean it shouldn't be on PC

+1 for a PC version. I would much rather toss money into a new video card for my PC due to that fact that I have been buying more Steam titles than the console equivalent. The simple truth is that I will buy a console JUST to play Destiny. However, I am a little confused with their current stance since the Steam community is a loyal and extremely profitable customer base for game developers.

Edited by DIGZZofD0OM: 8/26/2013 4:31:50 AMIt's all in how they deploy it on PC. They could take the Blizzard/any MMO approach where the character information is saved on a secure server and a connection is always required to play the game. Give each copy of the game an associated code, bind that code to a single account, always online requirement, non-locally stored character files and voila, pirate free and hack free environment, brought onto PC. EDIT: That being said, I would much prefer it if the game was released on PC as well, as I don't want to have to spend 400-500 dollars on a console plus subscription fee for a single game, when I already have my pc set up and invested it.

Halo is the only game in my life that I have always gone back to and I love playing halo with my community of friends more than any other game by far. I transitioned to a pc gamer right around the time Halo 4 came out. I haven't found I game that compares to halo on the PC and I'm not much for games like battlefield or cod. I hope this comes out for PC!

Here's an idea for Bungie if their afraid of pirating. If the game suspects it is pirated, make every enemy invincible, cut movement speed to 25% and take in game money and weapons from the player like their being taxed. I have a PC that has cost me well over $1000 and I will be buying Destiny for 360 (or One if we have cross-gen multiplayer). When Destiny comes out on PC (and it will, that's a fact) I will be buying it again for better graphics than 360, nodding community (look up Skyrim mods), mouse and keyboard controls (call me crazy, I prefer them), higher frame rate (not a big deal but still), and Steam sales for DLC :D

I'm with you brother! Consoles may have our hardware, BUT THEY DO NOT HAVE OUR HEART!
-
It should be on pc 100%, I was gutted when halo stopped coming out for pc, and for no real reason they stopped halo dont do it again bungie :) please lol
-
I would preorder it in an instant. Hell yes that would be great! Please Bungie make it happen!!!!
-
the people who don't think this should be on pc disappoint me. why would you get this butthurt just because some pc elitist assholes make you angry? a lot of them are trolling anyway and are a very small portion of the entire community.
-
I wouldn't mind it.. but all the hacking! Not like consoles are unhackable, obviously..
-
10 RepliesWhy would anyone vote that it shouldn't be on PC? Take the consoles out of your ass for a second and realize what you're saying. You don't want specific people to experience this remarkable game just because they run PCs. How sanctimonious are you?
-
I voted no and I have a gaming PC. Come at me.
-
Could you make another poll option like: "Who cares?" I'd pick that one.
-
4 RepliesI only game on my pc. I don't own a console. I spent my money to build a machine that would do most anything I ask of it, from run Photoshop, to the latest games, in a full tower case, and more. I've invested over $2000 to constantly get upgrades for my pc to keep it relevant and up to date. I cannot do that with a game console. I would argue that to me, what I put on my pc means more to me than what a gamer would put on a console. Even if we are doing the same thing. Its a hard thing to explain, but for those who game on a pc, I would argue their commitment is higher than mere console users.

18 RepliesOMG, SO TIRED OF I WANNA HAVE DESTINY ON MY PC THREADS Console gamers have had to live with Platform Exclusives before, it's about time PC Gamers get a taste.
-
3 RepliesYes, please.
