Yay :D
Background: Batman has fully prepared for this fight, Goku hasn't. Who wins?
-
Batman, cause anti-saiyan bat spray.
-
I don't get how any preparation would save batman.
-
12 RepliesUh oh. OP's played the "preparation" card, which apparently means Batman just wins by default. My opinion is inconclusive, because I don't see how Batman could defeat Goku but I'm open to the feasibility of it happening.

10 RepliesEdited by Deus: 3/23/2013 6:35:17 PMLike honestly, bro, -blam!- all you -blam!- who say batman will win. It's not possible.
-
lol Goku was stopped by a virus in the android saga. Does anyone here really think that Batman is incapable of unleashing a virus a million times worse?

realisticly, goku would win but because of plot armor (which DC characters have more of) it would be a tie dbz characters dont have nearly the amount of plot armor DC characters have...
-
2 RepliesOkay, OP, let's get this settled. Does Batman have ki here, since apparently in crossovers factors from both universe merge or whatever, does he not? Is Goku able to sense him or not?
-
23 RepliesGoku is stupidly over-powered. I fail to see how Batman can beat a character that lives outside of logic... Even if they fought neither would ever truly win. Goku dies: LOL brought back with Dragon Balls! Batman dies: LOL wasn't really dead, just sent back in time!

1 ReplyAll Goku would need to do is destroy the planet Bats is standing on, or fly right at him several times lightspeed, or punch him. Or anything. Anything Goku does to Batman will vaporize him. You can't defend against having everything around you go up in flames before you can react. If there is any situation where Batman can suddenly fight and kill Goku because of "prep time," you can chalk it up to copious amounts of plot armor, and would then, logically, have to count plot armor in any vs. debate between any two characters ever. Batman's superpowers seem only to be plot-induced-supidity as someone said. The day we start considering plot armor as actual factors in a fight (and it doesn't matter how it's presented, it's still plot armor), is the day I lose all respect for Batman fanboys.

3 RepliesEdited by Elegiac: 3/23/2013 4:22:56 PMWhat I hate is that we're comfortable with Batman beats Goku, and a host of other opponents, but people get all awkward when it's Batman vs Spiderman.
-
1 ReplyBatman is a member of the Black Lantern corps; He can bring back the dead to fight for him and he can heal himself from all injuries even decapitation. Batman wins this fight.

6 RepliesEdited by Madman Mordo: 3/23/2013 1:17:36 PMWait, prepared as in fully equipped to fight someone like this, or prepared as in studied Goku for a considerable time beforehand?
-
Goku wouldnt need to prepare. Batman isn't strong enough to even hurt him.
-
Goku, of course.
-
88 RepliesAs much as I like Batman, Goku would win. Goku doesn't have a weakness Batman can use against him.

1 ReplyI have a question. So what would happen if Batman was in the DBZ universe and trained with many styles of martial arts like he did in the comics?? Would he be 10x more powerful since humans in DBZ can fly, have super strength, and shoot energy out of their finger tips?
-
14 RepliesHow is this even a question? Goku defeated people who wiped out entire races and destroyed planets. And he was a super saiyan 1 at that time.
-
See, the problem is that Batman has his "prep time" that everyone talks about. The fact is that, even with prep, he should not be able to beat most of the people he does. This is called PID, or Plot Induced Stupidity. Plain and simple when Batman's prep defeats the Godlike characters he fights regularly, it can be chalked up to bad writing. That. And he probably has "anti-Saiyan spray"

If he's fully prepared, I guess he gets a Green Lantern Ring or something of alien god power.

34 RepliesEdited by Winy: 3/16/2013 10:33:51 PMWell, considering that every time I encounter these threads, I'm shocked to hear that Batman is practically Jesus and can do innumerable tasks that just so happen to combat every single conflict that could ever be hypothetically thrown at him, I can infer that the same will happen here. But I'm just going to throw out that Goku beat a God, so... Does that count for anything?
-
Batman has fully prepared for this fight
Batman. It is irrefutable when there's prep involved.
-
1 ReplyBatman throws poisoned food in front of Goku. Game over.

Goku because power pole > anything else ever in the history of everything.
