It made me sad. :(

Edited by IFallen Sith: 3/3/2013 9:41:21 PMDefinitely a bold move. I was not expecting it from 343, but they delivered (for now). Sure, it got sappy, but it was still a hard hitting ending.

One of the most beautiful advancements of character I've ever seen. Paired up with one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. If I wasn't on my phone, I'd be text-walling why.

3 RepliesShe looks so -blam!-ing hot in Halo 4, and a single manly tear rolled down my face when she died.

Edited by Toa Axis: 3/3/2013 12:54:56 PMI knew it was inevitable. I wanted it to happen. For Chief's sake. Admittedly I teared up a bit.

Even though I found her "death" scene well done and sad, I'm not really big on the circumstances that caused it.
-
It was a shitty, nonsensical death, but she was a shitty character, anyway. How they managed to make a super-intelligent A.I. such a goddamned damsel is beyond me.
-
I highly doubt she's dead. Or at the very least, 343 didn't do a good job convincing me otherwise.
-
Why can't she just be dead? I'd much rather see other Spartan IIs.
-
She's not dead lol

Halo 4 failed to capture the enormity of the moment for me. The Didact fight was scripted and unsatisfactory. And then suddenly... nuke, Cortana's disentegrating. We're touching. We're holding. Aaaand... then we're done. It's not a bad game persay, but I felt a lot less invested than say Halo 2 and Halo 3.

Without Cortana Master Chief is not Master Chief
-
I wish she moved onto someone else. *wink* *wink*

3 RepliesHalo 3 Cortana > Halo 4 Cortana. She was okay in Halo 4, I guess the ending was inevitable.
