Am I the only one who doesn't get Harlem Shake?
I just watched about 10 different Harlem Shake vids. I didn't laugh once. I really don't know how this went viral.
Also why would anyone watch a compilation of Harlem Shake vids? That's like watching 17 different comedians tell the same joke back-to-back. It's completely redundant.

I think the fun part of doing it is that they're doing it with their community, their co-workers, their classmates. Things are fun when you do them with other people a lot of the time. I think it would be hilarious to see Bungie do it, but that's just me, other people would say that's retarded but you have to think in a certain way to get these kinds of things I guess. I mean I saw one where an engineering department at a university did it, so you can't really say that the people who do it are dumb or stupid, it's just about having fun man, I never understood why you guys are so cynical. It's just...fun.

I have no idea what the appeal is to it. It's probably because of how the Red Power ranger did it, which I admit is the only funny thing about it. It never should have gained this much popularity though.

I don't care about the latest mainstream meme/fad. I have also done this for Honey BooBoo, the Kardashians, and other utter wastes of time and brain cells. It works for me.
