Officially… desciption changed on steam from

Interesting…. The mind boggles…wonder if ftp is being scrapped???

Interesting to think about. Obviously they could remove ftp, but I feel it's Pandoras Box. Already went ftp. Would probably be worse for their bottom line at this point. I do impo, feel it should have stayed paid all along. But that would have its own challenges as well.

1 ReplyHmmm. Destiny is mostly a single player game now with the portal, the world isn’t evolving (it was sunset), is heavily monetized, and good friends don’t ask friends to play Destiny. It’s still a first person shooter game, with high elemental ability spam, and is heavily focused on cosmetics, especially in the cash shop, to customize your look or appearance. Seems like the changes are an accurate representation of the game.

Well, F2P and Void Walker. Plus wasn't there just an article saying that the development team pushed back hard against the notion of making Destiny 2 a subscription service?
