For anyone interested, the title movie is now available to stream on HBOMax. Or whatever they're calling it now.
I just watched it myself and to be fair, I enjoyed it. I do have one question though.........why the hell would someone put a cape on a dog? Sure I get it, he's a "super" dog but still, a cape on a dog? Weird.

1 ReplyFinally saw the movie Saturday night with my family... I'm still just thinking about how much of it was a mess for me. Had to watch Iron Giant to recuperate. Can I just talk about Iron Giant? It's funny to me that the guy who made Iron Giant, the BEST Superman movie also made The Incredibles, the Best Fantastic Four movie. Dude's done some great work in the animated film realm.

1 ReplyI've been wearing a cape lately. It doesnt do -blam!- outside of making people point and giggle at me.

3 RepliesOne thing I liked about it is that even though it was flawed, it wasn't flawed in the same way MCU movies are which makes it inherently better and far more watchable. as for your question, the answer is simply auramaxxing. Engineer didn't need to do a half backflip with her head regenerating out of her -blam!-, but she did. Mr Terrific didn't need music playing during that fight sequence, but he did. Krypto didn't need a cape, but he has one on anyway. It's all about auramaxxing in the year of our lord 2025.
