Unable to play Trials due to Class Matchmaking.
I've tried on 3 characters to play Trials today, and thanks to the low player population in my region and class matchmaking, I haven't been able to find a match all day.
Zero matches, matchmaking timed out multiple times on characters.
This is not it. Don't limit matchmaking when it's already hard enough to find matches.

The game balance improves but the matchmaking takes 10x longer if not more. Which with how bad the matchmaking is to begin with that is incredible. I can play a team on their flawless game and then play them again a game later. On my FIRST game of my card. So they can’t tell me their matchmaking is doing anything useful.

The player population for that will explode next week due to people being so excited to play the regular way.

Why is this a thing? They should stop experimenting different gamemodes with trials. Bungie is always trying to re-invent the weel.

Playing on titan seemed the best for me, didn't really have to wait insanely long compared to my hunter.

Good idea in concept if there was a much larger pool of people playing. As it stands with how low the trials population is, it seems odd to put another parameter like that in place

Trials are run by carry services. If that aren't already very obvious 😂😂😂😂 stats in Destiny 2 PVP mean absolutely nothing for a game that can't provide security measures for such a mode.

1 ReplyI went in Friday afternoon just to get the Seasonal Challenge done. As someone who doesn't play a lot of Trials, putting in Class Matchmaking with a low player count is such a bad idea.

I made a post when they rereleased this version of trials, mongoosed constantly, on all 3 characters. People would comment about how hunters deserved it due to being broken, they were nerfed to the ground btw, and that this version of trials is god tier and the best ever. I say to those players they're wrong, this never worked before, they brought it back, it didn't work now, and they go and try again to no avail. Echo chambers are fun. Happy Holidays Guardians 🍻

Today, I tried trials matchmaking once… waited 7 minutes in orbit while matchmaking 🍿🍿🍿 without finding a single match… so I changed the game mode and went playing regular 6v6 control games instead… What a circus with trials this weekend 🎪🎪🎪 Great Job Bungo 🤡🤡🤡

You’re not missing anything thing trust me. The weapon reward is meh, the map is just pulse and sniper alley, and cheaters everywhere.

Probably because the majority of players play as hunter and it’s a weapon that people already have or don’t care about. Friday I had no problem as a warlock to get matches went flawless and haven’t played since. Players going flawless already can be another reason

I'm a hunter main and I just had the fastest load in time in trials of any kind of matchmaking I've had all week. Knew what that meant immediately so since the map is luckily midtown this week, I whipped out my broom and proceeded to sweep the streets for whoever it was that just won.

Was it roughly 6-7 PM in your region?

If you don’t get mongoosed… 8 minutes to find a match to only get steamrolled in 5 minutes or less. Awesome game design.

I prefer class matchmaking warlock all running the blink shotgun stiff always running away is annoying atleast with class matchmaking I only have to put down one
