Oh I was hoping it wasn’t, I can use a strand scout with unraveling rounds and stun both anti/unstop and that’s just a legendary weapon. I hope feedback reaches and this changes for QoL as I really enjoy the weapon but it’s a wasted exotic slot rn

  • I know this inherently isn't helpful by itself, but Champions aren't engaging or fun. They simply restrict load-outs and sometimes, like now, heavily restrict loud outs beyond reason by having weapons that by all accounts should benefit. Tormentors are similar, but you can still use a variety of weapons against them, even if precision-based damage is the most effective. While I don't like Tormentors, they are still a good example of effective weapon balancing catering to a certain type of damage. Champ mods being as restrictive as they are already cause discourse, but creating even more restrictions, which may I add are increasingly inconsistent (Radiant allowing anti-barrier on weapons that are "banned" from benefitting artifact perks. Riptide slowing, freezing, and becoming anti-barrier from radiant, an all-in-one that's allowed, yet Exotics that perform far worse are barred from doing the same?) If something is too "powerful" for being able to effectively deal with all champions then at least make that rule consistent across the board. Having unlisted exceptions creates unneeded confusion and frustration at a lack of clarification. Furthermore, Chillclip requires special ammo/heavy to procc, and multiple shots in most cases, but is much easier to do. Wicked Implement requires crits to even do anything, which against an overload minotaur for example isn't exactly the easiest... All this is doing is punishing players with the ability to consistently land crits and devalue certain exotics due to trivial reasons that are not consistent across the board, while again, only leading to frustration. I know this is a difficult situation to please everyone and keep things in balance, but sometimes fun outweighs balance- games are made to be fun after all...
