Chill out with the damn tormentors

Ffs It was interesting when they were first added. Now they're getting annoying. The copy-paste keys could really use a break.

          So, a little secret with these bad boys; you can stunlock them. And with a particular bit of creativity you can pin them into place and they stop being a problem. I essentially tell everyone now Let Me Solo Him, and they can get on with doing everything else. Experiment with some heavy ammo stuff with a catalyst on it, and see what you come up with. (If I wasn't vague they'd probably nerf it!)

            • I like that they are a unique enemy. What I don't like is that Bungie repeatedly locks us in with them in a tiny room with no cover, like in the Lightfall legendary campaign or the Lake of Shadows GM.

              hanging out with the tormentors when we make peace with them in Destiny 7 will be very chill... ... but for now ENJOY the most interesting different enemy-type B has produced that I can think of... ...would be cool to have smaller versions with more of them and like someone said a blinking one would be a true horror (FOTL?)

              • I really like tormentors as an enemy but man do they need some nerfs. Not to their damage or health, but how they take damage. Primarily precision damage feels awful on 99% of tormentors, especially higher end onslaught ones, because they don't have the spot on their backs like the nightfall one does. Just that being moved to all would be a major step up. I would like to see a reduction in their splash damage protection too. Being forced to run specific weapons feels bad. There should obviously be a benefit to building specifically towards killing them, but you shouldn't be punished so heavily for not all inning on it either.

                  • I'm just waiting for them to get stomp mechanics or maybe shields to push us into the next galaxy far far away, for all the times they don't grab us, kill our abilities, or any of the other billion ways they just prolong a fight. Uhmmm the devs are not the smartest bunch so I hope they don't read this and make this nightmare a reality!!! It may make me not want to play anymore. Oh wait TO LATE!
