PETITION: REMOVE COUNTDOWN FROM COMP
For the love of God take countdown out. People on my teams are constantly leaving because they don't want to play countdown, and then I get screwed in a 2v3 and still lose rank points because there's no quitter protection.

Bungie just delete pvp people just moan about it do pve and use marathon as a pvp game sorted

2 RepliesIf Bungie removes Countdown from Competitive, then they’ll have to put in another objective based game mode because they WANT one there with Survival (a team-deathmatch mode). It’s not pleasant especially when you solo queue and get put against a 3 stack which happens quite frequently. I always liked it when comp was elimination and survival.

they should have just added og countdown. Countdown rush isn't a bad game mode it just doesn't belong in comp

Edited by eeriearcade: 12/14/2023 5:40:46 PMHaven’t played the new version yet, but I loved old 4v4 Countdown, with revives instead of respawns. A lot of players seem to hate objective game modes. I wonder if it would be better to rotate modes weekly, so at least people can choose their favourite mode/playlist each week and not get put into things they have little interest in playing.

1 ReplyRealistically Comp should have the objective style game modes, makes team comp, planning engagements and adapting to the flow of the match become much more important. If you just want to pub stomp and W key around, just play QP.

i use to do legend every seasons until they input rift mode, then they removed rift and i was very happy to come back then this joke happen... comp SHOULD be survival ONLY. otherwise is just a piece of crap that doesnt worth the grind to the legend so until they start to use commun sense i dont do comp. its sad but its way better to play those stupid mode that only make me frustrated..

9 RepliesThat's probably going to end up having to go. It would have been nice to have the matchmaking stay like it was the first day long enough for people to learn how to play it. But its probably best if it doesn't end up with a rift reputation. Its probably good crest volcano mode got removed quickly as well because that can probably be tweaked to be much better. A lot of people do not seem to like countdown though. That's unfortunate but not surprising.

Countdown is actually really fun. Sometimes it just frustrates you when res far away from your team and action and just cant make it to do anything before its over....

remove all gamemodes and replace it with that new iron banner gamemode with glory motes.... GAMBIT PVP FOREVER, AND EVER.
