I know it would be pointless but we got every other thing in the game that is an exotic from ships, sparrows, to ghost shells why not add an exotic bond, cloak, and mark, you could have each class item increase the reputation of gambit, crucible, and vanguard or keep track of the reputation of each or both, and there are many other uses for them, and the design of the items would be off of the seals, titles we unlocked or a design of each enemy race. I would like to see exotic class item to come back.

12 RepliesI’ve thought of a couple ideas… Exotic Class Armour Exotic Warlock Bond Name: Essence of the Warlock Intrinsic Perk The Travellers Embrace: Standing in any rift grants you and allies in the rift armour charges, up to 5 armour charges. Additionally, you make rifts both healing and empowering. Exotic Titan Mark Name: Ammunition Technician Mark Intrinsic Perk Lighten the Load: Picking up heavy ammo has a chance (20%) to overflow your power weapon and make heavy ammo available for allies off your back. When allies pick up heavy ammo from you, you gain a burst of healing, mobility, and reload speed. Allies also gain increased reload speed for a short period of time. Exotic Hunter Cloak Name: Cloak of the Hero Intrinsic Perk Wishful Dragon: Activating your super grants increased super damage (10%) for nearby allies for 5 seconds. When empowering allies you glow with a Golden Aura which increases your mobility, recovery and ability regen. Empowering allies stacks this buff up to 4 times. (Your cloak grows more extravagant with each stack.) Exotic Dominus Ghaul Class Armour Bond of Dominus Ghaul Mark of Dominus Ghaul Cloak of Dominus Ghaul Intrinsic Perk Light Harnessed: -10 penalty to all attributes including an additional -10 to respective class attribute. -20 warlock recovery -20 Titan resilience -20 Hunter mobility However, an additional exotic piece can be equipped. (2 exotic weapons or 2 exotic armour pieces.)

We had them in D1 and it was a long long grind to earn them

1 ReplyNew eververse items on the way 🤑

I miss my dead orbit mark it was my favorite arm band but then again I miss the factions it was something I enjoyed throwing experience Into.
-
Always thought it would be cool to add a universal class item all classes could equip. Maybe something like this... Exotic class item: "Wish Dragons Bargain" Flavor text: "Tithe unto thyself o bearer mine" +20 to your class stat (i.e. mobility on hunters, resilience of titans and recovery on warlocks) Exotic perk: Recursive Tithe- this Exotic allows the user to equip a second Exotic weapon essentially you give up being able to equip a normal Exotic armor in exchange for a stat bump and the ability to use 2 Exotic weapons. Probably a huge mess to try and code into the game, but would be cool, albeit maybe a bit OP with the right build
-
There were ways to get them in D1. I think one was by raising your faction rank to a specific level. But you know, Bungie refuses to do factions in D2 anymore.
-
We had a exotic mark etc I think you got it from the secret chest in kingsfall d1
-
Even if it grants a flat 20% xp boost or a 20% xp boost for whatever mode you are playing. it would be cool to have again. So an exotic bond for crucible grants 20% increase in xp, a gambit grants gambit xp etc. something as simple as that would be awesome

16 RepliesAs a warlock.. I'd like an entirely new class item. Bonds are so boring and weak. They don't stand out, they don't draw attention, and they add nothing to the look. Hunters have whole -blam!- capes with hoods.. we get an arm band? The hell is that lol

Edited by Howiepenguin: 8/31/2023 2:49:16 PMD1 had them. And it felt worth it once you go the exotic since you stood out with it. It also gave you a transmat effect before they started shoehorning them into their MTX store. While getting an exotic class item would be nice, I would like them to revert the fact that class items have no use in stat building outside of a stat mod and the 2 measly points it gives to everything once mastwerworked. Heck, I want our ghost shells to start giving stats again too! I hate the fact that some of our gear was made into another egregious monetization model.

1 ReplyI actually enjoyed the grind of getting to rank 25 (if I remember correctly) with each faction to get the exotic class item. They did nothing, but it was a small sign of accomplishment.
-
So just like in D1?
-
Or give Warlocks & Titans a cloak, like Dr. Strange's.
-
5 RepliesHow about Titan Cloaks, Hunter Bonds and Warlock Mark's ?
-
Why can't we just have regular Exotics that happen to be class items? Not like the D1 ones where they just upgraded vendor reputation gains or subclass progression and could be equipped with another exotic. Like actual Exotics. The only thing that comes to mind is that we wouldn't have to grind for a good roll since class items don't have any base stats so we'd just get it once and never again. Plus, they'd have to add a day for class items to the legendary and master lost sectors, but tbh they could just make them quest rewards instead or random drops

3 RepliesWe already did in d1
-
4 RepliesThere’s only one for each and they’re in D1 TTK. Oddly enough people have said theirs has disappeared not too long ago... so there are none out anymore.
-
2 RepliesHave had the same thought myself. If you had an exotic class-item and masterworked it, I feel it should give you an extra armor slot. That way one could use a +10 in one stat and a +5 in a different stat. With masterworked it would then be a +12, +7, and +2 to 4 other stats.

Ye this stuff needs to drop from g rank 11

Unless it has some benefit, it's going to be inferior to artifice Armor

Another reason D1 is still better.

1 ReplyAvailable in D1

Already had them in d1. If they haven’t added them to d2 yet, then I don’t see them getting added anytime soon
