I love the crafting system, but it can be tedious if we want two versions of a weapon for, say, PvE and PvP.
Example: I have an Iterative Loop fusion rifle with two enhanced perks at level 22 for PvE. Then I saw a CoolGuy (or True Vanguard?) video about a great PvP roll, and wanted to try that without completely changing my PvE roll (since it's expensive in terms of mats). I crafted a new Iterative Loop, but it's all the way back at level 0 and will take a bit more time to get to the level I need to try the recommended PvP perks.
It would be great if that second crafted Loop came out at the same level as my original. Maybe it could cost a few extra mats (but please be nice) to craft it that way.

3 RepliesOr remove the level system entirely, there's no need for it. Unlcock pattern, make the weapon you want straight away insteaad of forcing us to use sub-par perks for hours. It takes long enough to collect 5 deepsight weapons to begin with, the last thing we need is to grind even more.

1 ReplyEdited by NeoReaper82: 8/18/2023 8:54:12 PMor once we hit level 20 and use an alloy in both slots, ALL PERKS SHOULD BE UNLOCKED
-
4 RepliesOnce a weapon reaches a certain level we should be able to add a second perk in the 3rd and 4th columns

Edited by OldTrafford Fan: 8/18/2023 9:43:13 PMIf not the same level, it should have an accelerated leveling rate. Also, after reaching certain level "milestones" - extra perks should be an option - much like resetting Vanguard/Gambit/Crucible ranks adds perk options to each column. Maybe - lvl 20 30 40 or whatever. I mean those are the levels that unlock the Memento perks. They don't even have to be "Enhanced Perks" - just being able to toggle to another when you want to, is enuff.

Once it’s fully crafted and leveled and you use you 2 ascendant alloy….. It should then never need any more materials, meaning if you want to change your perks it’s free to do since you already leveled it
-
1 ReplyI would like for them to add secondary perks for the 3rd and 4th slots at higher weapon levels. Gives you a reason to level them up and it's smarter for vault space issues that everyone is still having. 🙄 It's probably a balance issue, but either you can have enhanced perks or you can have two extra perks instead. I dunno? Food for thought.

Bump that idea!
-
I'd like that to
-
I would love that.
-
They should also make alloys universal across said weapon. So you don’t have to farm more to unlock another perk. One day you’ll feel like Payload/Dragonfly on nation of beasts. One day you’ll pick voltshot and another perk. It’s silly how bungie handled that.

3 RepliesRemember when they made it sound like you'd be able to craft dual perks on craftable weapons so that you could have the same weapon be perfect for pvp and pve? I remember.
-
OR perks, including enhanced perks, be changed to unlockables. This too would solve the problem without taking up the vault space for multiple guns.
-
When a weapon reaches lvl 20 it's at the summit of its potential we should be able to unlock extra perk slots at say lvl 25 then 30 and so on so we can swap perks for different occasions. Random rolls have more perk Choices which makes the more flexible in some cases.
-
1 Replyor once you get to level 50 you can add a second perk kind of like adept weapons. so you can swap to a pvp roll without having to have a second crafted weapon. then level 100 you can add a second in the other column

Also, recrafting a weapon should raise it to your current power level
-
It needs to go beyond what you are proposing. Currently options are pay up for new perks or in some cases have 2 or 3 of the same crafted weapons with different perks in our vault.. Should be imo, level it up pay for unlocking regular or enhanced perks once, then switch for free when you want. Also perks should be 12 n 12 for 3rd n 4th slots.. more options is always nice and some weapons perk options are cheeks...
-
1 ReplyYou should just be able to add perks as much as you want and then just choose between the perks you paid for.
-
All this crafting weapons should be available. You dont have to find 5 weapons with patterns to unlock a weapon first then level up to certain level and claim the title. What a full of bs. Who ever came with this idea must not have social life or any life for that matter.
-
At least level 20 or something. That would be fair I think.
-
Either that, or the option to have multiple rolls on one weapon so we can switch between for example a pvp roll and a pve roll instead of having two weapons.
-
I wish my gun would stop leveling past 20 and that it didn't have a kill counter personally
-
Honestly it should just be allowed that we buy the perks for a gun individually and can freely swap to them anytime on the same gun. Just think of how much freedom to have six or more perks to choose from on one gun. It’d be expensive but worth it.
-
4 RepliesAlternatively, let us put a second row of perks to essentially carry two rolls in one, but if not, this is the nextbest thing.
-
7 RepliesYou love it? Makes sense. People like me think it's ridiculous that I need to destroy 5 of the same gun, oh but only the ones that have a red outline, which are super rare, for no good reason other than to pad game time.
