BUNGIE PLEASE WAKE UP, YOUR MAINSTREAM GAME IS DYING AND YOU RE LETTING IT HAPPEN
i love destiny 2 and 1 with so, so much passion, grinded many hours(over 2500hr), had beautiful memories alongside friends i ve made in the game and irl friends in raids, nightfalls, cruicible matches, gambit and etc, and see the player base slowly going down and down, more and more microtransactions and paywalls to grant acess to a scarce of content, smaller twids and you guys getting more and more far from us, the player base, i dont know why and the reason for all this happening rn, but.... i dont feel the same joyous and happy feeling that i had logging on in, like shadowkeep, forsaken and EVEN beyond light, you guys are in a new low rn with obnoxious server crashes DAILY, poor content being drip feeded to us and things that dont even make sense to be made, its so sad to see a game that STILL have a preventable decline and essencialy, death.

Seeing it’s not based in reality or accurate, I’d assume they laugh pretty hard over which one is the most unhinged. Grown men unraveling over a video game. Insisting it’s dying or a dead game when it’s player base has grown since last year. Meanwhile Bungie is making money hand over fist lol. You don’t represent the player base in any way but instead the small faction of Karen’s that are angry about everything and anything.

Once again we see the battle of the ego's with Bungie who are upset that the streamers don't like them anymore, and the streamers who are upset that Bungie are not helping them to get views so they can make money. And Bungie have decided once again that what is needed is a summit with the very people they listened to last time about difficulty. And that went well. Here we are not even halfway through the year and players are walking away left, right and centre. We have an exotic quest that starts with fishing, the story in Lightfall was apparently meant to be open ended, if that were true the Veil .. you know what ??, who cares anymore. None of it makes sense or even matters anymore. Everything has it's time. Destiny 2 has had it's time. It's just the natural order. The story is a joke, the core activities are a waste of time and you have to pay a ridiculous amount to play this hot mess that has servers being held together with crossed fingers and overworked hamsters. Good stuff is coming for gamers. A Cyberpunk DLC, Spider Man 2, Starfield, to say nothing of all the great games we missed out on while supporting this fetid turd of a game as a it wheezes its way to the next "event" and it's Eververse refresh and "Event Card". Good riddance to bad rubbish I say.

Agreed. But after 8.5 years, I've finally heard the CEOs of this greedy corp loud & clear - If you want the game to change you need to uninstall it & stop sending Bungie money. I've expressed my feedback for almost a decade & they shown us what they listen to with the launch of D2 + Forsaken. Vote with your wallet. Go play a different game. If you truly want Bungie to change their ways with Destiny, the player base count needs to tank like it did pre-Forsaken, & have these low player counts threaten to close the studio down. This is the only way this community has ever got Bungie's stubborn Ash to change decisions they are married too.

1 ReplyThey just think the destiny community will buy everything from them. So they focus on marathon thinking that if a game has "bungie" on it we will be hyped and pay. But in reality the destiny community tends to love destiny, but hate bungie for what they did to d2 from shadowkeep to this day. I truly hope their new game fails miserably and they realize they arent a loved studio at all. (And tbh even if it wasnt from bungie, i wouldnt play a pvp third person shooter extraction game) Especially this ugly (from what we've seen it looks basically average)

only way to solve it is to not buy anything from this company. im feeling conned rn i was stupid and bought the year of content . once thats over im not buying anything from this bunch of cowboys ever again. multiple chance to come clean do the right thing but every turn they mess up. time to walk away in september i dont care about the hype the content will be dry in 2 weeks of the dlc drop and same old bungie no listen . screw em

For every “D1 beta vet” there are 5 new people installing the game pretty much it’s not hard to see you need to stop letting this game have a hold on your life. Love your family, hug your dog, do something other than this game fam.

Game died when Activision left and threw this barren game into the trash. They’re just keeping it alive with life-support. Have you seen somebody in life-support? Very minimal work done. It’s in a vegetative state. You pull the plug and they’re dead. State of the game. 🤣 It’s laughable! I ain’t playing a corpse. I won’t buy anything they come up with in the future as well. Not buying any products from them anymore after what they did here. It’s DEAD! 🤣 Absolutely nothing here but a shamble mess of shallowness!🤣

Bungie is not trying to satisfy us. They are not trying to recover. They are fine with mediocrity as long as idiots like us keep buying their far below mediocre content. Revenue is all they care about, oh and player engagement. Thats why they shut down most of their servers recently, shifted most of their talented devs to other projects and provide beyond trash content for a rising price. We are getting milked. Destiny is doomed to exist in mediocrity until it eventually dies. They have seemingly ZERO intentions to change that. Stop playing and stop buying. Thats the only 2 things that might have a tiny impact.
