I won’t pre order destiny ever again
I’ll wait to see the reactions. This hot mess of a season really has highlighted how little respect you have for the average player. Your game is for those who have excessive hours to watch content etc etc. I’d hope the vast majority have jobs and demanding lives that this games is an interlude from. But you seem to have catered to those whose lives are the other way around.

5 RepliesQuit playing it uninstall and never look back. I quit a month ago been playing warframe, gow, and just enjoying new games. D2 will never get better it only gets worse. Bungie proved it with LF. Can't trust these dirty gay devs they just want your money and for you to be gay.

I haven't pre-ordered since Shadowkeep, I actually waited for reviews of Lightfall before purchasing. I did end up getting it, but it feels waaaay less bad having realistic expectations going into it (Story bad, Strand good). So I'm having quite a lot of fun.

I’ll still preorder if I’m still playing, but whether or not I’ll keep playing is the question. I quit out mid Beyond Light and didn’t come back until the end of Witch Queen. Thought the game seemed pretty solid, but the way it’s going this season and expansion is solid garbage.

We initially preordered Lightfall, but the dismal seasonal content that followed Witch Queen changed our minds. We canceled our preorder, and we’re so glad we did. I don’t think I could stomach another one of my husband’s rants about wasting money on an overpriced DLC from a company that does not respect a player’s time or money. Can’t say I blame him for it. We constantly talk about how we’ve dodged a bullet now. We’re not sure we want to pay for more content moving forward. Which is sad, because we both like the “idea” of Destiny. I still look at my Cayde and Hatchling plushie, Hunter’s knife, and other cool Destiny paraphernalia with a sigh, and wonder how on earth Bungie made this game so wrong. Edit: Husband and I kept an eye on reviews and gameplay that ultimately cemented our decision not to buy Lightfall. The story fell short, the gameplay looked alright but wasn’t enough to get us excited, Strand didn’t look exciting, etc.

1 ReplyI always hope that people will learn their lesson and stop pre-ordering. No matter what bonus is attached. It's extremely important to Bungie that you pre-order. Which is why the bonuses keep getting larger and larger. A whole -blam!- exotic weapon this time? SERIOUSLY? They tacked that on this time because they knew this would be a filler expansion besides Strand. I don't care how good Final Shape ends up being. Stop. Pre-ordering. At the end of the day I'm just some dude on the internet. But you're actually hurting the quality of the product you enjoy so much.

Well said, couldn't agree more. These streamer clowns are constantly joking about people with jobs and family aswell which is sad cause they live in their little elitist bubble and actually think that us complaining about the game being catered to them isn't justified. The fact that Bungie caters their game to those elitist minorities is more so worrying than sad to me.

Up vote this into the devs mail box!!!! I swore i would never do this again but lightfall looked sooooooo good, exciting and vibrant. I wanted a refund but im in too deep not to have the new gear and thats where they have us. The addiction we have to show them that if it sucks we wont buy it. We needed another witch-queen type expansion.

Just for saying he didn't like Nimbus' voice. True story. Nothing vulgar at all. Nothing insulting. Nothing criticizing anyone but his voice. A MONTH ban. Just disgusted us even further. Never again will we be foolish enough to support this game as we have since 2014.
