I started playing Destiny 2 about a year ago with my two boys. I bought every expansion up to Witch Queen with every season pass. That is 3 season passes every three months for the last year including Defiance. Aside from patrols, strikes and campaign content, I would have never considered the game easy. I have one Raid under my belt and me and my boys grinded the hell out of Seraph to earn the title. The only reason we were able to grind that much was because it was released during Christmas break from school when we literally played for 6 to 8 hours a day. We watch the you tube videos, grind for gear and try to be the best we can be. With that said, our little family fire team has enjoyed the seasonal content and even completed a couple legend operation seraph shield. It was a struggle, but we made it. However, it is not the content that we like to play because it is tough, and takes hours. Last night we played the seasonal content and could not get past the final boss fight after lots of wipes and over an hour of play. I am very concerned that this will be the end of destiny for us because it has gotten significantly more difficult. My boys were so upset that we couldn't get through the very content Bungie expects us to grind through for the next 3 months. If Bungie is not interested in keeping people like me, good on them for having so much money that they can cast aside people like me that buy multiple content passes every season under multiple accounts. Hell I even bought the Damn robot dog for $35 (which I still haven't received) I'm sure I am not alone in feeling this way. It is a very poor business model to discourage the majority of people who keep pumping money into this game, just to be cast aside for the top 1% who think this game is not at all difficult. I am really hoping that lots of Dads just like me will send a message to Bungie with our wallets when none of my kids want to play their game anymore and guys like me no longer pony up multiple purchases every few months. You couldn't complete an activity, which is a positive thing because now you have a chance to earn a sense of accomplishment by learning and growing as a team. Look up some builds, prioritise survivability because you don't wipe if you don't die. Spec 100 resilience. Concentrate on getting as far as you can, talk about why you failed, be constructive. It isn't hard, you can come out the other side of this full of pride for your kids and knowing you overcame a tough obstacle. I have 4 kids, one is a boy, he just finished the legendary campaign solo without breaking a sweat. I carried him, now he is 13 he carries adults. A challenge is an opportunity
