Just deleted Destiny
As a solo player, the game has become to hard and stressful. They weakened our characters and made enemies stronger. -blam!- dlc and -blam!- npc's. Sick of being a unpaid beta tester. Way way over priced for -blam!- filler content. Deleted the game. Shove final shape up their -blam!-. Last dollars from me. Feel absolutely ripped off.

As much as I want to delete the game I still enjoy it. But I'm so burnt out from it that I'm no longer excited or happy to play a new season. The more difficult enemies ain't too bad. But the grind is getting boring and with every season with bugs and nothing being fixed. I'm taking a break this season and probably will play on weekends for an hour or so. Pvp is a nightmare with unbalance lobbies, new season bugs, and nothing to grind for if crafted weapons are better like origin traits or perks. Strikes are bland I would rather grind for GM but every season I have to regrind my level and that just gets boring. Raids are ok but once I have the crafted weapons I want there is no point to play them. You guardians who keep playing good luck with the grind and take a break when needed. GLHF

21 RepliesI get what some players are saying when they say to try different builds to improve your experience for actual [b](complete games,)[/b] but Destiny 2 will never ever be one and that is a fact. It is broken compared to other AAA games using their outdated 2001 engine/P2P that has caused so many issues it's way beyond ridiculous at this point, and it's 2023 🤦♂️ Destiny 2 will never be a complete game, never have an actual story, will never have a foundation, and will never have any constancy to move a game forward while improving the players experience. Being forced to play how this business is forcing players to play because they constantly change things because they can't get their act together after 16 years is actually pretty damn bad. Creating a challenge is one thing when you actually use machines to create that challenge. Nerfing the player to the ground again and constantly resetting players progress if you can even call it that every season to do the same crap over and over and over again and to re-enter content you unlocked over and over and over again [b](is not at all creating a challenge, it's just this business dragging out what tiny bit of content they will offer and they somehow convinced a lot you players that believe their nonsense that it's a "challenge".)[/b] No, it's called cheap lazy development and that is a fact. Oh, you "fans" that troll others on this forum because some post things that are not of "your approval" that no one will ever need can downvote others, troll, take things personal to degrade others to try to feel special about yourselves all they want. It's not going to change how poorly this game is actually designed after 16 years of working on a project like this from a "AAA business".

21 Replies8000+ hour franchise veteran. Haven't played in 5.5 months. Really proud of my willpower to be cautious about the LF hype, and it paid off! I won't ever consider jumping back in, unless reviews for the next expansion are mostly positive. But after being away that long, who knows if I'll ever come back. I got so tired of the predatory manipulation of players' time, the constant nerfs (which translated to more abuse of your time), the activism (blm, trans, gays, etc) - use another platform for that behavior. Don't use the stage you created from Halo and early Destiny to promote your agenda. Anyways, honestly find other games dude you'll be much more fulfilled. I'm playing old gamecube emulators, and even some Halo. Sure, there will be times you get bored and it feels like you were never bored with Destiny 2; but that wasn't healthy - it was addicting.

I feel the same way. Played the nightfall this week one time and do not enjoy the game at all in its current state. Wish I could refund lightfall because it’s barely even working but steam/bungie have run the perfect scam right over my head. Uninstalled until bungie wakes up.

Also the game is not that hard now, especially with the proper build and all the insane farms we got right now.

I had enough of d2 around the time the kf remaster came out. Deleted all my gear/weapons/characters and left. Came back bc k was bored af and had nothing to do. Granted I haven’t gotten Lf because I hear it’s a total dumpster fire. Decided to wait till it hits the 15-20 dollar mark
